For a lot of people, the hassle of trying to get everything in order to go to a convention over in Europe outweighs how worthwhile it'd be do. And God forbid if one thing goes wrong (ex. Passport not showing up on time, PTO being rejected), you've just lost thousands for a con you can't attend now.

The cost to get a passport here is pretty expensive, not to mention how long waiting time are just to receive it. And with how expensive it is just to fly internationally with airlines in the U.S, its not a worthwhile endeavor to do that. Not to mention how little paid time off from work we get.

I'm so emotionally drained with my patience being on a razors edge with how much I've been hurt the past few years and getting the message of "I'm not good enough" despite attempting to put as much effort as I can in, even when I'm just wanting to walk away and disappear for good.

Its frustrating seeing how much I've let myself be so self destructive, where I went from being a once organized, level headed person who always had their shit together and could find a way to make things work, to now having to scrape up whatever I can while trying my hardest to not lose my sanity.

To be blunt, I've unintentionally burned a couple of bridges and damaged friendships to where I feel like they're in a state of being beyond repair in some cases. I threw so much away of what made me actually me that looking at myself now, I can't help but feel some kind of hatred of who I am now.

I honestly don't know what the hell I'm even doing anymore. Looking back now, I feel like I've shot myself in the foot so many times where I never questioned the consequences of my actions or cared enough then to see how much it'd hurt me present day. And I hold a lot of regrets over it still.

Honestly, I'm not horribly upset by this since I was leaving anyways for a new job so its not a giant problem for me. Regardless, still kind of stings being that this is the first time I've ever gotten let go from a job. Glad I returned most of the company's property before then.
