It was a night here, too. Poor dogs climbing in laps, then hiding in the bathroom (because they know thunder can’t find them there). Our cat Wilhelmina slept thru it. She’s elderly and going deaf.

As long as it’s not storming, it’s a safe drive, huge rock retaining walls have been built on the west side to stop boulders from crashing down. Every New Mexican should see the birth place of The Rio Grande

I used to have a cat faced spider on the roof of my front porch every spring to fall. Each spring I’d name the new one in honor of Charlotte-Carlotta, Charleen, Caroline. I’m a terrible arachnophobe and hoped this would help-maybe be it did, a little, still prefer the creepy crawlies outside.

Higgins is adorable 🥰 This is Riley. My partner turned on his flashers on the inside lane of an I-40 overpass and coaxed him off the edge where he was trying to avoid being flattened by traffic. About 5 months old at the time, now 2 1/2, smart as a whip.
