My new favorite Vocaloid pastime is using VocaDB to look up 2007/2008 English Miku covers

I was hoping to upload my songs to Bilibili now that they've launched globally, but it asks for my ID or phone number to upload and won't let me use the latter, so I guess not

Not like I actually care about metrics, I simply laugh when big companies mess up

NMeter @nmetermusic.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Yeah something tells me YouTube didn't do their viewer engagement update properly

It should be out on Friday as long as I get the mixing done by then! I hardly know anything about mixing but I made a test mix with the power of YouTube tutorials

You ever make a partial song cover to test a new voicebank, then come back a few weeks later and switch voicebanks and accidentally finish the whole thing in a day It may or may not be a Tei cover

Okay it seems like there was an outage, but it always feels slow for some reason

NMeter @nmetermusic.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

I wish this app wasn't so slow all the time...

It was a neat experiment but more issues crop up every day (Wi-Fi also doesn't work) and I need Windows for TuneLab and FL Studio anyway so there's no point in inconveniencing myself

NMeter @nmetermusic.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Yeah I think I'm done with Linux at this point

It's funny seeing all mentions of old KoshitsukiP MMDs being as stuff people watched years ago as kids, I guess I'm the only one who's new to them

My favorite pastime since getting into Vocaloid is finding old Len songs and scrolling through the comments to get to the fangirls from a decade ago

But at least I can do this so everything is right in the world

Kinda wish I didn't buy Project DIVA Mega Mix+ until I was finished with Extend lol, I already don't miss the stuttering and input lag

Also screw whatever is causing VocaDB to error out when trying to embed SoundCloud links 💔

NMeter @nmetermusic.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I got mildly worried when I found out downloadable SoundCloud songs use their original file names, because I'm the kind of person to call things "new final ACTUAL FINAL v2.wav"
