This reminds me of a very bizarre time when on Google Maps, the 'Mayr Field' in Freedom Park (Leesburg, Virginia) was misnamed as 'Hyrule Field'. It's no longer a listed location on Google Maps for obvious reasons, but I still have two images from the time to show that this was in fact very real.

So it turns out, I might've been wrong, twice. What I've discovered seems to suggest that although my internet was working fine (for the most part), it was actually my computer's operating system's runtime that was the problem.

All of this has me feeling quite conflicted as of now. I had been contemplating joining the Internet Archive in September as this year has had a *substantial* lost media problem, but with all of these technical issues raining down upon it, I'm starting to feel I should reconsider my decisions.

This just in for a quick little update, I noticed that GNU GRUB can be displayed in the GPU's state of confusion with a garbled color palette.

Use the 🔼 and 🔽 keys to select which entry is highlighted. Press enter to boot the selected OS, 'e' to edit the commands before booting or 'c' for a command-line.

This screen normally displays with black, gray/grey, and white. However, here those were replaced with light red, indigo, and beige respectively.

It's surprising to see a Windows 11 era version of an app still being able to run on Windows as far back as Windows 2000 RTM. Though, I suppose if it isn't broken, it's not worth fixing. And if that really is the case, then kudos to Igor Pavlov for creating a codebase that stood the test of time.

So I decided to disable Compatibility Support Module on my main PC so I can assure I am using EFI boot, but I wasn't expecting THIS. For some reason, doing this made my GPU output some absurd stuff while it shouldn't be receiving an image signal.

No idea if it's just me, but Internet Archive has been acting really flimsy as of lately. Every now and then I would try to view an item, but what I get is a screen that says "unable to load metadata from item location" and I don't know why that's happening.

Yesterday I spent a bit of time getting my Asteroids clone that used to be Windows exclusive to build and run on Linux. It didn't take very long to do so as it was already abstracted from the OS and hardware using raylib . I just needed to update the build configuration to support Linux builds.
