I had originally drawn Poirots tiny lil curved mustache as a cowboy handlebar 👀 Fortunately, these things can be edited in gimp(photoshop adjacent software)) David Suchet's Poirot style will always hold a warm space in my heart😸

@mattbaume.bsky.social this was the meme i was quoting. Took a hot second to find it 🤣 Definitely Yvette🤣

Image of tumblr user scottbaiowulf-deactivated201805's post that says, "Male writers writing female characters: "Cassandra woke up to the rays of the sun streaming through the slats on her blinds, cascading over her naked chest. She stretched, her breasts lifting with her arms as she greeted the sun. She rolled out of bed abd put on a shirt, her nipples prominently showing through thin fabric. She breasted boobily to the stairs and titted downwards."

Remember to trust yourself if someone/something feels off. You don't have to "give people a chance" to win some goodness award. Your peace, sanity, and happiness is worth the wait and weeding out of the wrong ones.

Don't torture yourself for someone who will never see you for who you are. They are literally not worth your time, which is the most precious resource you have. (Late night getting sketch together yesterday, so is up on the socials this am)

people get intimidated by the social belief of "supporting the arts" as like donating $5,000,000 for a new wing at a museum or hosting some gala it's not. 10% of our audience throwing us $1.00 a month would literally be *life-changing* money most artists are in the same boat.

Adding to this, one can always restart at any time. Let it dry, let it set.... One day you'll look back and aha, that's what needs the fix!

LIGHTEN YOUR PEN PRESSURE CURVE. You NEED to learn to draw without pressing super hard. Not only will this elongate your screen protectors & pen nibs lifespans, it greatly reduces strain on your wrist. The proportion of artists whose bodies survive over a decade of art ain't even close to 100%.

Usagi, Ami and Makoto all sitting next to each other, eating different kinds of cold treats. Caption says “in public btw”.
Usagi is happily chomping while swinging her feet. Text above her says “oblivious”.
Ami is biting into a popsicle while keeping her gaze low.
Makoto is looking with an embarrassed and incredulous expression off-screen.
