I remember that and yes I would have loved to read proper investigation but also they did end up deserving that F!

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

Oh yeah tonight was not on him alone, but uhhh this has the potential to be a capital “p” Problem without some sort of action. I didn’t hate them moving on from Levi in a vacuum but Ersson was never gonna be the solution

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

Don’t think Ersson is an NHL goalie right now, and it’s not like he’s got a track record of success to make you think he’s ever gonna break out of it

Getting bodied by Bratt was pretty funny. What’s the point of Kleven if that’s happening?

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

I think the Sens are a lot better than the Devils?

1120

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

Maybe! I think hes gonna be challenged running PP1 because he’s not especially mobile and a lot of being a good quarterback is walking the line and being patient but he’s still really young and he’s got some exciting tools. I’m still not very sure how he’s gonna end up just yet.

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

That little tweak to have Pinto sit up high and let him run little bumper plays from the middle generated more good looks in 30 seconds than in the rest of the game combined

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

Halliday, I like that a lot. More, pls.

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

Sandy is great at many things, but I don’t see him as an improvement on Chabot (who to be fair hasn’t been world beating in this starting stretch on the PP). If the Sens turn the PP around, there’s going to be a lot of things that need to change

Sens hockey, babbyyyy (complimentary)

I’d be open to trying anything! I’m not super sold on that, I don’t see Yak showing enough patience / vision on the PP just yet but he can certainly clip it so maybe???

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

It would also be nice if Drake Batherson remembered how to pass the puck, but I don’t think there’s any way you can swap him out

030

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

Sanderson ain’t an improvement on Chabot here, so that swap alone won’t fix it. Whole thing seems extremely broken. I might try swapping Pinto in for Cozens to see if getting a better shooting threat opens up some lanes

Now would be a great time for the power play to start working

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

He’s lost it a bunch trying to attack 1-on-1 (which I don’t hate and is definitely his MO) but agreed that I like the confidence

How we feeling about Yakemchuk now that it’s been five games? I’ve seen flashes, and he hasn’t been totally out of place, but I feel like he hasn’t quite figured out what he can do in the NHL. Lots of times where he’s trying plays that probably worked in junior that don’t in the big league.

As for the ALCS, well…..

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Maybe Stützle, though he had lots of rough moments. Both were totally fine, but I have a higher standard for them.

Nate @nkb121.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

I’m not sure anyone on the Sens actually played well tonight, but they still won. That basically never happened last year. Now I don’t want to say the vibes were cursed and now they’ve been purified thanks to a change in captain, but…..

Really great piece here. Bradford’s politics are nothing but an empty vessel for his naked ambitions. Bradford only cares about one thing: his own personal advancement. His regressive policies built on fear and division are a natural expression of a man with no moral core.

Struggle aside, that really was an all-time shootout goal. The whole shootout thing was still kinda new, Crosby was so young and fresh in the league, and the move itself was nasty. I’m not even a Pens fan and I watched that clip on loop
