Quick anonymous poll: how are you actually encountering AI these days? Using it daily, hate it passionately, watching it float by on social, somewhere in between? Seven questions, under a minute, no email collected. Would love responses and shares. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

Seems like it has been getting harder and harder to get out into nature in Oregon. Last paddle-board trip we had to get three permits and pay for parking at two places. Thanks Washington for keeping it easy to get outside! Lacamas Lake was beautiful 🤙

Try the book - heck I'll buy you a copy if you message me where to ship it :) If you have an alternate take book, I am happy to read it. Also some positivity for the day: check out how happy my dog was last night!

I would think people who are involved in the space might actually have the most informed take on what was at the time a very nascent technological evolution! This is reinforced by the content of the book, which is really excellent.

It would be able to know what you mean by people like me! No point asking. Also, in terms of social impact, I have seen positives and negatives. A good book I recommend is Superagency for a balanced thoughful critique. Environmentally, the hate against "AI datacenters" seems quite irrational to me

What do you think is BS about it? Also I looked up some context using AI since I am not an expert in Russian

he knows that himself, yet he will be the first to take offense, and will revel in his resentment till he feels great pleasure in it, and so pass to genuine vindictiveness.

A man may know that nobody has insulted him, but that he has invented the insult for himself, has lied and exaggerated to make it picturesque, has caught at a word and made a mountain out of a molehill—

The man who lies to himself can be more easily offended than any one.You know it is sometimes very pleasant to take offense, isn't it?

Nathan Clement @njclement.com · 21/08/2026
And having no respect he ceases to love, and in order to occupy and distract himself without love he gives way to passions and coarse pleasures, and sinks to bestiality in his vices, all from continual lying to other men and to himself.

Nathan Clement @njclement.com · 21/08/2026
Above all, don't lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to such a pass that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others.

Look. Us regular folk will never be able to raise a clone army in time to fight off the Silicon Valley droid army unless we have super powerful AI to help us figure out how to accelerate the growth process.

My wife left medical to become a vibe coder. Once in a while I review her code, and am regularly in awe of her velocity and work quality. Her secret? She knows exactly what she wants, has incredible attention to detail, and asks her AI assistant to explain its choices.

Everyone’s watching the AI breakthroughs. The actual war? It’s the silent backroom talent deals, culture curation, contracts, counteroffers, people sliding between teams, while everyone else argues about code.

Trying to supercharge Claude agent workflows. Manual "@" calls are a pain, making real orchestration feel out of reach. Has anyone cracked agent delegation, maybe with clever hooks? Craving thoughts from folks in the trenches. Share for visibility if you feel the same way!

Use case for LLM Agents: TDD for Integration Docs. > Step 1: Create fresh application > Step 2: Point Agent at Docs (maybe an llms.txt?) > Step 3: Ask Agent to integrate with your product ✅ Pass = Integration works Automating this process would be a cool product!
