Akanen really got some well-deserved time in the spotlight on 6th. I really like the grey costumes, though I do miss the masks. They should bring them back as a one-off at some point Virtus is pretty much around the corner by now, and my hype levels are just snowballing out of reasonable proportions

I'm thinking the post-credits scene is setting up spin-offs we'll know more of soon enough. Whether anything good comes out of that is 100% up in the air. I sort of recall a "love" being thrown in there alongside the admiration. The lap pillow at the end was yurific, but I'm always open to more

Bilibili quality so bad it made me open my wallet and fall into an insane rabbit hole. I'm partial towards 6th because it's the first one I watched live (through streaming ofc), but that moment in 5th is just *captivating*. I could only watch and hold my breath

I was a bit more tired than I'd have liked, and the movie didn't give me any breathing room, so by the end I was kinda struggling, so that's why I kinda want to give it a second watch, now knowing what I'm facing. I think it's good, even if maybe not the best the series has to offer

They kinda leave it open for interpretation. They are shown gayly sitting on that bench, then Madoka disappears and Homura continues to rest peacefully. I can interpret that as Madoka going back to Law of Cycles-mode, but I'm not sure what to think about Homura. Is she finally free?

I don't think it's open ended as much as abstract ended. I think Homura reached a conclusion of her character arc by realising her love for Madoka had turned into an unhealthy obsession that didn't even respect what she wanted to do. *But*, we don't quite get closure as to what happens to them

For the story, I really feel like I need to watch it again before I come to solid conclusions. Don't think that'll happen before it eventually releases on streaming tho.

Fellow Sunday Walpurgis enjoyer 🤝 Those initial 10 minutes or so for the cold open are straight up some of the best looking things I've seen. The movie as a whole looks amazing, but the art direction on that whole sequence is nuts

My bad then 🫡 That Blu-ray was my gateway drug for buying the others, and CDs in general. And I dropped the ball with the upload lol. It's still peak though 🥹
