Why does Shining Armor look so miffed? (He can't play D&D tonight). Character suggested by @calpain.bsky.social. #art #digitalart #mlp #mlpshiningarmor

Coloured and shaded artwork of shining armor from MLP:FiM looking miffed/annoyed. He is in a static walking pose, no major deisgn differences from canon beyond some mane and tail colour placement and the addition of a heart collar and ring on his horn. the background is grey, he is standing on a muted purple shape with a darker shadow behind. side note for people who read ALT text : I can't shade white for crap so this is not the best.

Her mane and tail are a myriad of colours, those being Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple respectively. Her eye is a Violet-Red and she is looking at the viewer with a smirk. the background is grey.

Forgot my ipad for an appt, drew on paper instead and scanned and coloured when I got home, experimented a bit with colours, very little editing done to the sketch beyond transparency to colour. Luna is neat :) #art #mlp #mlpluna #digitalart #traditionalart <- used both tags bc it used both mediums.

Both!, it's kind of based off these pieces from a while ago, which were themselves probably based off of infection aus/general horror. It itself isn't an AU however and is based more on defects/deformities in development, in this case, a disability that impacts its shapeshifting abilities.+ALT txt.

Pixel-ish sketch of a changeling that looks decidedly "fucked up". it has green mist surrounding its legs. This one is the one based on infection aus most likely. its colours are grey and light green with teeth inside its mouth, which along with its blue eye is leaking green fluid.

Rendered sketch of a changeling that I genuinely can't remember if it's based on infection aus or not. its colours are greys and light greens and its front hooves have claws on the ends. its eye is green and it's mouth has teeth.

Cw Body horror, bugs, eyestrain.(changelings are bugs). The changeling is suffering, but nopony has the heart to put it out of it's misery, all they can do is watch on in horror as the poor thing deteriorates slowly, crying all the while. #art #digitalart #mlp #mlpart #horror

Fullbody drawing of a changeling from MLP:FiM (My little pony: friendship is magic) contained in a purple magic chamber framed in gold with purple gems.. The changelings limbs are disjointed and malformed, with the limbs closest to the front having green-teal spikes jutting from the hind-joint and front hoof respectively. the rear-most limbs are plated in dark-greyish "armor" and both have four green-teal "claws" at the ends. the front armored leg has armor going 3/4 up the arm, and the rear leg only has 1/4 cover. the mouth is open and is green inside, there is no tongue or teeth. the eye is wide and blue and leaks darker fluid, as do the nostrils. the horn is tapered and jagged at the tip, there are two smaller green-teal spikes inbetween the horn and ear. the ear, mane and tail are ragged and have holes in them. the belly is the same green-teal as the spikes, and there is a grey chitinous shield over the back. there is a small patch of green on the neck and patched of dark-grey on the head close to the mane.

The background is dark and has three chained pillars in the background, there is light coming from above.

The cube, it's balling. Regional areas are fun to travel through/to, much more quiet than suburban areas and usually far more interesting. I want to travel more and take better pictures next time. Also they call it the wheatbelt but I saw more canola than wheat fields XD. #photos #westernaustralia

Went on a trip to see some friends and took pictures of their cats. One has seen the depths of the abyss, looks permanently confused, and LOVES belly rubs. The other is a refined lady. They are surprisingly not related despite the similarities. I have more pics I'll post later, nature tho. #cats

Changed Octavias design a little bit, went a bit overboard trying a style of shading. Updated ref to come soon. #art #digitalart #ocart

Fullbody shaded art piece of my OC Octavia. They are coloured dark grey-blue and bright green with lighter green accents on the fin and tail, with the inner ears being a lighter green and the tips being bright green. Near the end of the tail the colours go from bright green to black, with the edges of the tail being light green. She has blonde hair and wears a golden collar, two different armbands, the upper being a darker blue-grey and the lower being a silvery-grey, with golden "cloth" connecting them. (it's not cloth, I just can't describe what it is well). Their eyes are closed and she is frownign slightly. One of her arms is held out and the other is by their side, hidden behind a side fin and the tail. the background is blue, with halftone overlayed and a rainbow overlayed on-top, with overlayed black and +add filtered outlines with lowered opacity behind. If you read this far congrats.

Mosaic Rock-Candy. Crunchy! 99% chance it eats you instead of you eating it, however. #art #digitalart #creaturedesign

An experimental image of a 4 legged rock "creature" in a myriad of colours. its neck and part of the chest are meant to mimic a mosaic style, while the rest of the body is generic "gem" styles. It has two "eyes", which are green and sit in the middle of the face and the middle of the chest respectively. the legs have multicoloured gems embedded in various places, and its tail is sharp.

My school-assessment-work got graded so I can post this now! Very proud of this. (ALT texts contain a link to source/image this was based on!) #art #digitalart #pterosaurs #pterosaur #landscapeart 1/2

Illustration based off of "Droving into the light" by Hans Heysen. There are 3 still life pterosaurs flying in the air replacing the drover and sheep. The leftmost pterosaur is orange with darker orange spots and light orange webbing. the middle pterosaur is green with yellow-green gradient and light yellow webbing. the rightmost pterosaur is a darker reddish-pink with lighter pink markings and lighter pink webbing. the sky is blue with orange-dark-blue clouds.

Just saw tony hawk hanging out on our fence. Blurry ass picture but pretty sure it's a hawk bc it didn't look like any of the other birds I've seen around the area, and the doves aren't that big. google says brown goshawk bc those are somewhat common in my area so. welcome to aus tony hawk!. 🤸‍♂️🛹
