I’m at my childhood home digging through my old games, and I totally forgot I still had the original Harvest Moon 64 box and instruction booklet!!! Holding this in my hands was a total nostalgia bomb, wow.

Finally started FFVII Rebirth today, and I already love it. The music, the open world, the gameplay improvements compared to Remake. I just spent a couple hours running around, collecting items and leveling up. This game is my new personality.

19. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition — Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (Switch 2, 2026) This game was SO GOOD! The story, the music, the characters, the world — I loved it all. I will play 2 and 3 at some point, but for now I just want to sit back and reflect on the amazing journey I've been on.

We ended up not playing any games and instead talked about movies for 3 hours LOL. Since I'm in my movie era and not my Twitch era these days, we went through and roasted chat's Letterboxd reviews and it was incredible LMAO thanks to everybody who hung out and took part

Clearing my backlog of all the new games and updates! ✅All medals and achievements on Normal in Star Fox ✅All trophies for Mario Kart World's new Knockout Tours ✅Played the Rhythm Heaven demo (got a medal on Disc Dog!!!) ✅DK Challenge - All retro courses (but only the easy Bananza challenges lol)

18. Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion (Switch, 2022) I've been curious about this one, and it was kinda awful LOL. I'm a huge FF7 fan, but this was kind of a chore to get through. And the story was HORRIBLE. Tetsuya Nomura at his worst. There's a whole plot point about apples? Glad it's done.

Tell me why my latest run of Star Fox had me misty-eyed 🥲 Peppy, Slippy and Falco survived the *entire* trip, AND I got a medal on the two hardest levels: Area 6 and Venom 2! This game is too good

17. Star Fox (Switch 2, 2026) My boys are back!!! An incredible remake of one of my favorite games. Yes, the new graphics and music are gorgeous, but the devs clearly care so much about Star Fox — its characters and its lore. So many fun cutscenes that deepen the relationships between the cast.

16. Donkey Kong 64 (N64, 1999) FINALLY beat this classic! I had a blast with this game — if only because NSO rewind stripped away all of the annoying aspects lol. Loved the Rare humor and seeing DK Country enemies in 3D. And somehow the water level was my favorite? And the DK rap slaps so hard.

15. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book (Switch 2, 2026) This game totally caught me by surprise! I thought it would be child's-first-platformer, but it's honestly one of the most original and clever games I've ever played. Every level is brimming with fun and new ways to interact with the world. Mlem!

14. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined (Switch 2, 2026) A very charming JRPG that goes on way, way, way, way, way too long. I was ready for the game to end about 15-20 hours ago lol. Just when you think it's over, it's not. But I'm glad I got to experience another Dragon Quest game!

13. Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4, 2020) My first time replaying FFVII Remake — and this time on Switch 2! God, I love this world, these characters, the music, the story. It all means so much to me. I teared up several times when certain songs started. And now I'm ready for Rebirth!

11. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii, 2007) 12. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii, 2010) Replayed both of these on the Switch 2 and had an amazing time! They are truly some of the best games ever made and the soundtrack is stellar. Also Bowser is a real weirdo in these games!!! I love him!

10. Mario vs. Donkey Kong (Game Boy Advance, 2004) Love the chunky voice clips and Mario's fluid movement in a GBA game, but it also made me appreciate the Switch remake so much more. Some of the puzzles are annoying, so thank you Nintendo Classics rewind!!!

140

Ninten_Tom @nintentom.bsky.social · 21/04/2026

Ninten_Tom @nintentom.bsky.social · 20/04/2026

I haven't watched the original Mario Bros. movie in about 20 years, and it's even more unhinged than I remembered as a kid. The movie opens with a group of nuns praying over a dinosaur egg?! And toward the end, Mario grinds on a woman in a club??? Anyways, I'm excited to finally see Galaxy lol.

8. Star Fox 64 (N64, 1997) 9. Star Fox (SNES, 1993) I celebrated the new Mario movie by playing through two Star Fox games on stream! The music, the sound clips, the barrel rolls — just undeniably classic games. I'm glad I was finally able to share my love of the series with you all!

7. Pokemon Pokopia (Switch 2, 2026) I have so, so, so, so much still to unlock/find/create, but I rolled credits! What an incredible game that I couldn't put down. I have 60 hours in it and feel like I've scratched the surface. It's such a great time just hanging with your Pokemon and living life.
