Samus being annoyingly silent during the entirety of Prime 4 has prepared me to be fully on board with her talking more in Ravenous. Also doesn’t hurt that her lines are sick as hell

I'm sure the internet is going to be full of OOT nitpicks over the next 2 months, so here's mine: The jump in Zora's Domain feels a lot less cinematic and impressive in terms of scale. I much prefer the colors, camera angle, and distance of the OG/3DS version

I’ve started obsessively listening to the 10 Fortune’s Weave tracks on Nintendo Music, and my god if this game goes as hard as these songs do it’s going to be an all timer

The first Switch 2 Splatoon game being single player focused with online co-op is actually genius, as I’ve seen tons of people really vibing with the series for the first time. Raiders has been the big shake up that I’ve wanted, and I really hope they can carry this positive momentum into Splatoon 4

After playing Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream for a few months, it's finally time to review it! There's so much I love about this game, but it does have a few flaws as well. There is much to discuss. New video is out now!! Link: youtu.be/nCG7uBGtwfc

New video! These are 10 Nintendo games that I think are 10/10s. Perfection may not be truly attainable, but these games come pretty close for me. I ended up working on this one for way too long, which tbh I should have expected given the topic... Link: youtu.be/1P4ENXRpa0Y

Just got back from the theater, and I thought the movie was fantastic! Gorgeous space scenery, solid emotional core, and while there were lots of jokes nearly all of them landed. Fast pacing, but still plenty of impactful slower scenes. Overall I really recommend Project Hail Mary

The last (and only) Pokémon game I genuinely vibed with was Sun, not because I think it's an incredible game but because of it's overall aesthetic/theme. And between the impressive water graphics and the cute fire dog, I'm starting to think Wind/Waves might finally be the one that gets me back in

Nintendo Hero @nintendohero.bsky.social · 20/02/2026

Super weird timing that I happened to beat the Shadow of the Colossus remake earlier today before even hearing about Bluepoint getting shut down. It’s incredibly frustrating to see such a talented studio be affected by the all too common pattern of short-sighted corporate decision making

As much as I've been enjoying the Switch 2, I think it's safe to say that nothing has REALLY grabbed me so far, given that my most played game was a port of a 3DS Monster Hunter lol (Tomodachi Life and Splatoon Raiders will likely change that next year tho)

050

Nintendo Hero @nintendohero.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

And that's a wrap on another year of YouTube! I'm pretty satisfied with the videos I put out in 2025, and I'm especially proud of the Switch retrospective at the start of the year. So much happened this year, and 2026 will bring even more change to my life. Thanks for everything!
