I will release the Oni musical theme for «Ninjago: Future of the Past» soon 😈 A few months ago I posted a calm version that related to Lloyd himself in state of Oni awakening, but this one will be related purely to his inner demon! #Ninjago #LloydGarmadon #Music #Fanart #AU

(2/3) Unfortunately, it's hard for me to draw right now, so I've only finished 4 out of 11 pages. Plus I accidentally ruined page 5 lol In 5 page nothing special going on there; Lloyd couldn't pull himself together out of fear and thought it was a nightmare 😭

To prevent a tragedy Lloyd must stop restraining Oni side, which deeply loathes suppression. To bridge the gap between them, Lloyd needs to feel safe and supported. Only then will Oni's destructive urges subside, allowing them to finally reach a state of mutual understanding!

Oni in «Ninjago: Future Of The Past»! Once, I said that the only way to defeat the Oni is to find something stronger than Destruction… #Ninjago #AU #NinjagoFutureOfThePast #LloydGarmadon #Garmadon #fanart #NinjagoFanart #NinjagoAU

While Garmadon accepted evil as a part of himself, Lloyd, on the contrary, tried with all his might to suppress negative emotions and was ready to suffer personally, just so as not to cause pain to others… In my headcanon, Half-Oni perceive the human feelings of their host very closely, which explains why Garmadon was able to immediately gain control over Destruction while Lloyd fell 😭

Oni inside Lloyd felt the suppression, fear, and pain, and his attempts to break free are a kind of distorted helping hand… Lloyd just needs to give up control, and he won't feel pain anymore. The Oni's logic is that peace can only be achieved by causing pain to others and controlling everything. Due to the lack of an emotional bond between them, the Oni is ready to do anything for the sake of Destruction, even if it means destroying Lloyd's own body.

Decided to make an animated clip to tell my story! It's going to be similar to my first AU animation, but this time it's based on true events 🥹 youtu.be/Whg_4hV0gO0?... #Artist #Ninjago #Animation #fanart

I’m always said that ”Future of the Past” was built on personal feelings and life events, but because always preferred to stay anonymous, hardly ever shared anything about myself. This video won’t just introduce you to me, it will help you better understand both me and my work!

I don’t want to forget that always strive to inspire and teach something through my works, and would like to share own story, which actually doesn’t quite fill me with delight. There are events I’d rather just erase from my life, but at the same time, those very moments shaped who I am, and you can’t just throw away life experience. This is the hardest piece I’ve ever had to publish, yet it’s so close to heart. I wanted to reach a point where I’m no longer keeping this bottled up and can finally share it! I used to absolutely hate talking about all this, however now going to show in an animatic lmao...

On April 14, 2022, development began on the project «Ninjago: Future of the Past»! Work on the plot and overall atmosphere was completed in 2026, so I'll be sharing much more about it from now on ❤️‍🔥 #NinjagoFutureOfThePast #Ninjago #AU #fanart #NinjagoFanart #GraphicNovel #LEGO

⠀⠀When the enemy is within the protagonist, when someone who has spent years saving worlds and sacrificing everything dear suddenly finds themselves alone and sees how everything dear is erased from life. Silence, like no other, made him feel an inner emptiness and uselessness, leaving him disillusioned with the goal he had achieved — peace in the worlds. This is especially dangerous when a demon lives within you, hidden deep within and now, after so many years of life having found a crack, rapidly manifests itself, returning its host to a path of even more immoral behavior, turning their inner world inside out and resulting in pure chaos.
⠀⠀While Lloyd is the personification of «Past», wanting to remain within it out of fear of the unknown and the fear of making another mistake, Agatha is the «Future», who wants with all her might to erase the past from her life. This story teaches the ability to let go of the past in order to embrace the future. We must not only be prepared for the future, but also be able to accept negative experiences as part of ourselves, despite the scars.

— ”Why did you leave me precisely now? Answer!!”

⠀⠀In the most difficult period of his life, the hero loses his closest support — the only precious thing he had left after years of battle. At the cost of his own stability, he desperately tries to hold on to what remains, even as the cracks in his soul continue to spread and when it's time to take responsibility.
⠀⠀Friendship is a more powerful bond than it may seem... Even when you feel utterly alone and push everyone away, these people somehow stay by your side. Is it a sense of duty, or something even more profound? Having lost everything, the soul still clings to the memory of a past life, yet it takes immense strength to open up to new encounters once again.
