Lefty on their way to make some kraken calamari

Sketch of my OC Lefty. They’re effortlessly hoisting a giant kraken arm over their shoulder. They’re shirtless, showing off their musclular physique while only wearing a glove, a bandana, and a face mask tied behind their head.

I’ve been thinking about changing Lefty’s design for a while, but I’m not totally sure… part of their backstory is that they were born a conjoined twin, and their partially missing right hand was from the separation surgery. I was thinking about changing it so that they were conjoined in a more—

Mana versus her very first design, roughly February 2021. I wanted to do this meme with her cause there’s genuinely nothing in common between her first and current iterations, even personality & story-wise. Her name was Megumi Mauve and was a half-Japanese tomboy schoolgirl (hence the male uniform)

Digital art of my OC Mana vs her first design.

Left image: regular Mana— curly brown hair with some braids. Olive skin, green eyes, wearing a jumper. She’s sitting in a car buckled up, throwing a peace sign. A snapchat text says “about to get a haircut wish me luck”

Right image: Mana (Megumi)’s old design— light skin, brown eyes, sharp eyebrows. She has red-red hair with some bangs that’s in a ponytail that has two spikes coming out the side at the shoulders. She’s wearing a generic male Japanese schoolboy uniform with a year 3 pin on the collar. She’s cringing at the camera, clearly at a loss for words.

I somehow only now realized it’s called a “fanny pack” because it literally sits on your fanny, which is genuinely wild, since the word fanny (British slang for vagina) is a pretty vulgar word in Britain from my understanding. It’s like if it was called a pussy pack or cunt pack

Kissy mark (Also Mana started laughing for 3 minutes straight upon seeing him) #oc #ocart #originalcharacter #ocsky #art #artsky #cats #yuri

Digital art of my OCs. Mana is turning her head, curious, as Eun-yeong approaches. She’s saying “Help, I can’t get the stain off him…” as she’s holding up their cat, who has a pink lipstick kiss mark on his forehead.

Mana has curly brown hair, olive skin, and green eyes, and is dressed in a dark forest green sweater vest with a white shirt. Eun-yeong has dyed pink and lime hair in a ponytail, brown eyes, and fair skin. She has muscular, tattooed arms. Their cat— Keokeo— is a white Van cat with blue and green eyes.

Esmée's enjoying some bloody good blood "cake"! While her lovers/bodyguards/advisers/thralls can only watch. Poor guys :( This was meant to go live on Bi Visibility Day, but the scope increased to where to I had to put off it for little bit due to work. 😓 #oc | #ocsky | #art | #vampire

Digital art on a light purple background featuring three characters. In the foreground is an OC (original character) named Esmee, who is a Vampire woman with dark reddish-brown skin and black hair who sports a pair of bright red eyes. She is wearing a purple dress that hugs her curvy figure. In the artwork it is shown that the woman does not have her left arm, which is obscured underneath the sleeves of her dress. She is shown using her right arm to hold up a small white plate that has a purple and violet gelatin dessert that is in the shape of a 3-layered cake. There are multiple small bites on each layer. Small pink hearts surround the woman, showing her joy as she eats the "cake".

In the background there are two other characters. To the left is a man named Deandre, an OC who is a male Vampire who has the appearance of a man dark-skinned man with black hair styled in a loose ponytail that then spreads out into multiple wavy dreadlocks that scatter across his shoulders and upper torso. He is shown wearing a loose light brown shirt underneath a black suit and tie, dark red dress pants and black dress shoes that are secured with a single buckle. The man appears standing up right with a grey cane to support him using one hand, with the other held behind his back. To the right of the man is a female Vampire named Nadja, who is a a woman with light brown, caramel-colored skin and slightly dark brown hair that reaches past her shoulders. She is shown wearing a reddish-brown sleeveless vest with a white shirt underneath, along with loose brown pants that are supported by both brownish suspenders and a black belt.

There is dialogue in the form of colored speech bubbles between the two of them that reads (Right to left):

Nadja: "Do you think she will let us have some?"
Desmond: "Probably not".

Lefty in modern clothes (so like age 357ish). They’d definitely dress lesbian af. Thank goodness for butches

Sketch of my OC Lefty. They’re wearing their dark hair down, and have a face mask. They have on a white tank top, and are wearing jeans with a carabiner. They’re being viewed from below.

Lefty & Blackmore. I recently wrote a really nice scene between them

Sketch of my vampire OCs. Lefty is holding Blackmore up, who has her arms around Lefty.

Lefty has a bandana and a face mask on, and is wearing a sleeveless top to show off their muscles. Blackmore, who’s a lot smaller, is just wearing a dark dress with a corset.

I headcanon that Night participated in the Steel Ball Run race in 1890, though I’m not sure how her horse would avoid sunlight without putting a bedsheet over it. If Night had a stand, what songs would make a good name?

Aubrey @ninjaeagleart.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Updated Nero art. Their suit felt a little anachronistic, I tried to make it look more 1700. That, plus I wanted it to look like their clothes were made of their hair, since they have hair powers lol. Their only real clothes are their shoes and glove-thingys, and those buttons are actually clips.

Digital art of my OC Nero. They’re wearing a suit made of their hair, including the cravat. There’s several hairclips that look like the buttons on a justaucorps coat. Their gloves and buckled shoes are a dark black. They also have small braids attached to their glasses to look like a chain.

Ngl I just realized that like half of the vampirates can just be characterized by the fact that they have bad anxiety, they just express it in different ways lmao

Also— I recently got the idea to make a a miniature version of her arming sword (not the one here) out of cardstock, which I’ll try to do tomorrow :3

Sketch of my OC Gwendolen. She’s out of her armor, and is holding her flame-bladed greatsword by the ricasso. She has a white pixie cut, and has spiral tattoos.

Haven’t drawn Gwendolen the knight in a while— mostly because I haven’t worked on the story she’s from in a long time. Her flamboyance walked so Night’s flamboyance could run.

Sketch of my knight OC Gwendolen. She has a full-faced helmet with a roman-esque mohawk plume, a scarf, and her armor has a gambeson-like coat with a quilting pattern on it. She’s holding her arming sword, which is flame-bladed, and has a jian-like hilt, complete with a tassels on the pommel.

Fresh new look for Beau, one year on! ✨

My OC, Beau’s old reference sheet! It’s a full body illustration on a white canvas with a purple circle behind them. They are posing walking towards the left in a very flashy way, holding up a luxury ball close to their face and the other arm up while making an over-the-top hand gesture. They are sporting a cheeky smile.
Beau is a short, lean white AFAB person with freckles, long lashes, hot pink eyes, neck-long, curly, pastel pink hair with black roots growing out, and a wavy dye-line. They’re wearing a rather fancy/mystical outfit with a dark trenchcoat, black shirt, magenta scarf and pants, a belt in black, beige colored shoes and satchel with swirly engravings, and golden jewellery with dark purple gemstones. They are also wearing purple nail polish and eyeshadow.

Beau’s new reference sheet! They still mostly have the same look, but some minor additions have been included, plus it’s an art improvement!
They are standing on a white canvas with some light purple splash patterns coming out behind them. Their pose is rather sassy, leaning towards the right with their hip and their left leg stretched out to the side. They have a hand on their hip and their head is tilted towards the right, their expression looking smug and a tad tired.
Additions include: longer, curlier hair with more prominent devil horn/cat ear tufts on top, a rounder face, decorative straps on the upper arms of their coat, extra gold chains around their neck and in their belt, slightly rounder hips and scars on their hands from their experiments.
The details are displayed on the sides, first, on the left (from the top down): the hand scars, back view of the trench coat, showing off the purple bubbly poison pattern on the bottom and the drippy cut along the edge and their Espurr, Missy, with a text in clamps reading (extension of self)
On the right, again, from the top down, is a close up of their eyes explaining that they have rings in them instead of pupils, and their freckles, their beige satchel (optional), and them their most important accessories: dark purple droplet earrings, a set of a gold chain and a gold necklace with a dark purple gemstone cabochon, which has lighter colored rings in it, their golden eye belt buckle and their belt chains, with the upper one having a sun, a moon and a star charm hanging from it.

That tech question reminded me of an idea— what if, in some spinoff set in modern day (or the future), Night has a new vampire ally who’s a hacker, and maybe has an ability related to technology somehow?

120

Aubrey @ninjaeagleart.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Out of the vampirates, Night has the most bat associations. She can create bat wings from her blood, has a bat tattoo on her thigh/booty, has a pet bat that I recently added, and her first name— Cairo— comes from Chiroptera. Then Kura is just completely spider-themed. Spider & web tattoos, venom…

040

Aubrey @ninjaeagleart.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Mana, Eun, Sam, and the others are gen Z… self-explanatory. For Night, she knows how to operate computers and cells and stuff, but since she doesn’t own any tech herself, her literacy is very limited. (cont.)

Still getting used to drawing Oscar, the main character of the cowboy sequel. Ponchos are really hard to draw…

Sketch of my OC Oscar, the vampire outlaw. They have a large, dark poncho, a cowboy hat, and a bandana around their neck. They have long, dark hair in braids. They’re holding a match in their mouth while holding a revolver in one hand and three sticks of dynamite between their fingers in the other.

All great pirates need an exotic animal perched on their shoulder, right? Night’s vampire bat, Stylish Wings. I’m kinda iffy on the name, it doesn’t sound flamboyant enough

Sketch of my OC, Night the vampire pirate, posing casually, while facing her head to the side. On her shoulder is a small, dark vampire bat with a heart-shaped nose.

030

Aubrey @ninjaeagleart.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I’m thinking about it more and I actually really love the idea lol. I imagine that throughout the book (I’ll have to go back and add it into previous scenes), its facial expression will change depending on the mood of the scene, and the fact that it is will never be brought up by the characters

120

Aubrey @ninjaeagleart.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Really good idea that I just randomly had— what if the Wednesday Eve (Night’s ship)’s figurehead at the bow is a sentient gargoyle?

Update to the key art of Atra d’Arc cause her arms weren’t skinny enough. She’s meant to look underweight and sickly, contrasting how dangerous she is.

Digital art of my OC d'Arc. She's a short woman with heavily gaunt features. She is bald but wears a tricorner hat, and has a long blue coat with the sleeves and bottom ripped off.

She has a thorny vine tattoo on her upper arm, and has a rapier with a thorny motif sheathed on her right side. She wears spiked, metal-toed shoes
