#Filmsky Currently seeing My Neighbor Totoro. So many times I see it but I'm still having trouble understanding it... EVEN in its original audio.

How do I write in a script that text shows up in a text box videogame-style, and at the same time a character says it? #Screenwriting #ScriptSky

Can't catch a break without articles and kids saying I'm old if I like classic Motown songs and have seen Carol Burnett and Gilda Radner doing comedy, let alone getting a look at Evel Knievel. Let young people like old media without calling us old, please!

💯 “Feminism doesn’t hate men: it hates abusers, aggressors, sexists, misogynists, femicide perpetrators, pedophiles, and freeloaders. And good men aren’t bothered by this, because they hate them too.”

“I’d be a better Batman than Bruce Wayne ever was. I would kill ALL of his villains.” “You’d be a terrible Batman.” “Why? Because I’m willing to cross the line he never could?” “No. Because you’d fall off a building and die immediately.” “….”

(Talks about Evel Knievel.) "Wow, you must be over 50." (Listens to classic Motown music.) "If you like these guys or know them, you're old." (Shares info about a classic show.) "Bro, only old folks enjoy this!" I'm in my 20s... #LetYoungPeopleEnjoyOldMedia

Psst... writers of BlueSky. I have a question for you. What do you imagine it'd be like if someone was possessed by an angel rather than a demon?

If you've had this happen, you're not alone. Whenever someone texts me who is in my group for a project, I have to put a name to the number. Because if I don't, it will erroneously see my classmate as spam. It's happened before. Who else had their phone see friends or family as spam?

Which would be cooler? 1. Meeting a monster family and becoming friends with them? 2. Being a monster yourself? I'm talking about stuff like werewolves, vampires, ghosts, the like.

#filmsky A joke in Despicable Me that I hadn't caught until I saw it as an adult: The Bank of Evil has something that says "Formerly Lehman Brothers." The Lehman Brothers began in the 19th century, and became a financial powerhouse. But their mortgage practices were dodgy. (1/2)

since it's the last day of pride month I figured I'd at least make one thing for it... i now unveil to you my greatest invention: color bars pride flag

An LGBTQ+ pride flag formatted in the layout of the SMPTE "color bars" test pattern used for broadcast television. The first set of columns use the colors of the gay pride flag, with the addition of the original SMPTE color on the final column. The second set of columns contains two pride flags - the pansexual flag horizontally, and the asexual flag flipped and horizontal. The final set of columns contains the three colors of the transgender flag and the two POC-inclusive colors, followed by the original bar gradient from the SMPTE ECR-1-1978 pattern.
