Haven't been on here in a while, last few weeks we're kind of crazy. Still gaming plenty! College resumes soon though so time commitment will decrease just a bit. Way more importantly though, trying to minimize damage from incoming administration. I'm donating blood now to try and help as a start.

Gosh, something to encompass the whole medium...as cliche as this is probably GTA 5 or RDR 2, depending on if their film genre preference. It's not quite encompassing what games can be but it's a very good "first game" since they're so cinematic.

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 22/01/2025

Destiny 2 probably. It's my current MMO of choice so it could sustain me for 50 hours a week, especially since I've got 2 other very neglected characters.

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

People need to chill the eff out with "Destiny is going to die" posts, the amount of times that Bungie has supposedly been in a do or die position is too many for me to think it's actually do or die anymore. If they could survive Lightfall, they'll survive anything.

Hell yeah! I'm gonna buy a box of donuts for my household for my tradition.

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

Added GTTOD and Mouthwashing to the purchase list. I think that's my cutoff, 50 is good enough considering how many games I still need to play.

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

I have no fuckin idea, I got too many ;; Thinking of trying to blast through NieR Automata

010

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

Already spent 30 on the sale yet a few games are tempting me that might bring the total to 100 aaaaa Can someone tell me to play a game from my backlog ;;

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

Good shit, awesome to see that sort of turnaround! Never too late to fix mistakes.

Talked with PEGI and they do not see anything wrong Balatro being rated 18+, nor with EA sports FC (and similar games) having a 3+ rating Blaming EU laws, blaming storefronts, waiting for the future. Sitting on their hands I thought some good might come of this, this sucks

I've been looking for more games that have combat similar to KH2 specifically but it's a very niche thing. Closest I've found is like...ZZZ? But even then it's not really similar enough.

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 19/12/2024

Yeh, KH is great! 2 is my favorite personally, I'm very basic in that regard.

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

They're apparently gonna do more of that? Hope they have some sunset raid bosses next time, I'd love to do Insurrection Prime again!

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

Yeah, I only ever got to do legit during Pantheon. Proud to have that emblem for it!

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

Anarchy my beloved. Got that thing to finally drop on my birthday the year that raid got sunset. Last Wish is a god tier raid, I just wish I could make my friends do Riven legit one of these days because it's SUPER FUN

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

Absolutely! I'd have to talk spoilers in DMs since...it's a visual novel why the hell would I say what happens in public- but I'll keep ya posted!

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

D2 gang! Titan main, favorite raid is Vow of the Disciple (though when I get to run Salvation's Edge that might steal that title), favorite DLC is Final Shape, favorite exotic gun is...I guess sun shot based on raw kill count, but Whisper of the Worm based on fun factor.

Yeh! Just started Virtue's last reward tonight with them too, they insist it's their favorite of the trilogy and like their favorite game ever so I'm looking forwards to it!

Binding of Isaac, not bonding, blegh

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

Yeah I was not aware of the novel/adv mode thing but I still got everything! Had a buddy watch me play it who loves those games so they also helped to maybe fill in a few of the gaps, and the logic of the game's lore helped me call some possibly unclear plot twists in novel mode anyways.

110

Nine's Nook @ninesnook.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

I did! I played the Nonary Game version so apparently the script is a bit scuffed but I still had a great time regardless. Was really distracting hearing Xemnas the whole damn time while playing though, Paul St Peter is a very distinct voice haha

As someone who now has a SFW and NSFW account, this! Bluesky's content filtering seems to do a pretty good job once you feed it what you want. Just a day of using this new account and I've already got it mostly down pat.

Yeah I was gonna say like...*why* should I buy an upgraded switch? Obviously we're gonna get Switch 2 versions of stuff like Prime 4 and Legends Z-A but what else is there? I think (don't quote me on this though) dbrand did a fucky wucky and dropped a bombshell game reveal by accident though soooo-

This is George. He loved this tree at the lot. Then he got it home and realized it's not what he pictured. 12/10

a 5 foot tree in a living room. it's very scraggly at the top with a tall empty stem. a gold star has been placed on the highest point. a curly blond dog wearing a red and green hat sits in front of the tree. his expression implies he is less than impressed with the new holiday decor.
