holy shit new xcom i had a lot of general performance issues and there's these walkaround segments that felt extremely filler-y and experienced jank and bugs constantly but. Holy shit new xcom. I had a fun time with this. Felt smart when I played tactically, had a lot of fun micromanaging. 's good

played this on stream the same night and god. This just hit so well. Extremely appealing to my aesthetic wavelength. Immaculate vibes all around. I didn't talk much during stream because like. I didn't want to interrupt the game's atmosphere. wonderful time.

played this on stream in one sitting. I didn't expect to struggle with it as much as I did but most of the struggling was needing to make a million micro-adjustments to make the thing accept my work. But still, it's silly and funny and has lots of unexpected bits. good enough of a time

also i got caught up on jjk and damn this show's fun. kinda needed a big loud action series to scratch and itch, and this did it very well. I screamed. I teared up. I got giddy during fight scenes. There's some exceptionally silly nonsense which I found delightful also. I may change my pfp to miwa.

third mystery movie night is fantastic four (2005). Which is also weirdly paced? Ben Grim Suffering Compilation occasionally interrupted by sexism. It's fun though, and there's some delightfully dated advertisements in the background of some shots, which we had a lot of fun with.

getting caught up a little so three in a row. second mystery movie night was this and boooooy howdy this movie's kinda racist. And boring! It's 2 hours long and the first entire hour is set up. The stuff in the factory is fun i suppose? but like a third of it is wonka backstory nightmare. not worth

Realized I never put big walk in this thread. I technically never finished it - i had an unexpected internet outage during the final puzzle - but it really is a beautiful game. Some incredible puzzles, rly good music, and rly strong themeing go the distance. Loved the final area.

Not only is the fact that this movie released At All a huge win, its also a really good movie. Its fun and creative slapstick and also a compelling courtroom drama about how much of your life corporations will exploit if permitted, and also a heartfelt story about how one must imagine coyote happy.

Mystery Movie Night #1. You think it's gonna be a silly movie about a dinosaur skeleton and robin williams president. But actually its 2 hours of the world's most divorced guy yelling at a monkey. Some jokes really land but a lot felt like a family guy cutaway that goes on too long.

Real neat! I like when roguelikes have like. An Ending and this one's ending was Pretty Good! I ended up pretty invested in the dynamic between the player character and Ava but how much of that was because the main character's named zoe and i am ill about duplicates is yet to be seen.

really good show. I would elaborate my thoughts, but I already did in a big old liveblog thread. So like. If you want my opinion read that thread, recall that I ended up saying "really good show" and extrapolate the review i would write from that. i believe in you.

Watched this basically on a whim because I remember the name came up off-handedly in something I watched at some point in a way that intrigued me, and I needed something to keep my attention before an important phone call. Quite liked it. Extremely 00's movie, even though it came out 2009. fave shot

I watch a lot of YouTube, so I try and not include YouTube series I like in this thread because there's a lot of them. I am making an exception for Pokémon Black Abriged, simultaneously a blind playthrough, a challenge run, and a really interesting retake on games plot youtube.com/playlist?lis...

i haven't said much about either of them, so I'll just say here: I love Suzaku's love interest* being this like. Fairy Tale princess woman with bubbly pin hair and I love her sister being the Feared Big Target Super General that the black knights are currently trying to take down.

DUDE. I cannot imagine taking someone to a blind date and the location is YOUR JOB where you work on A SECRET PROTOTYPE MILITARY TECHNOLOGY. I get he's a mad scientist but this is really, really mad!!
