Another #MosaicMonday. This is the changing room in the baths of Herculaneum.

Ancient changing room, around the walls are still benches and shelves for clothes, on the floor in the middle is a black and white mosaic with a triton and various sea creatures.

By the way, I also visited the Great Wall, more than 20 years ago. Below the only picture I can find of that day. But I remember I had bronchitis, felt like death and crawled most stairs up on all fours because they were so steep. But I was there!

I just realised I missed #MosaicMonday. Here, have this photo I took last week at Ancient Messene, where I had to explain to a very shocked German lady that swastikas are very old symbols used in various cultures long before the Nazis appeared and tainted them.

I saw a small cat attacking this dress yesterday. It is unknown what the dress did to deserve this or what the proprietor of the shop thought about it.

I'm only guessing here, but it feels like the Greeks are seriously pissed off that the British Government still refuses to return the Parthenon marbles, after they built an entire museum for them in Athens.
