It's international anti-corruption day! And I'm back on Bluesky. Great to be working with the Lancet Global Health Commission on anti-corruption in health. Corruption kills health systems - but we can work together to fight it.

We published! gh.bmj.com/content/9/12... In our hot-of-the-press randomized controlled trial study, we used a new method (think mystery shopping, but with data collectors posing as pharmaceutical sales reps) to investigate deal-making between pharma and doctors in Pakistan.

Title of publication: Doctors taking bribes from pharma companies is common and not substantially reduced by an educational intervention. This is a randomized controlled trial in Pakistan. The picture features a stack of coins and two pills.
