Page 1 of the article. Who’s taking the helm? Contenders are Hayden Mayberry, a junior, and Elias Langford, a sophomore who mysteriously redshirted his freshman year.

Page 2 of the article. In the first column, Foxbury: Football’s Fallen Giant? Foxbury used to run college football but their program fell off. However they’ve been reloading and have a stacked coaching staff and roster. They also managed to beat Britechester at the annual rivalry bowl (Foxchester Bowl) last year, breaking a two year Britechester bowl win streak.

In the second column, Hayden Mayberry: Heavy Rests the Arm that Lies the C Armband. Everyone says Mayberry is good but not great. He broke a Foxbury record last year so we say he’s great, but until he beats Britechester in the regular season everyone might beg to differ.

Page 3 of the article. Elias Langford: The Redshirted Mystery. Langford didn’t play at all last season, now everyone wants to if it’s cause he simply just can’t hack it at the college ball level. Cause he’s talented, if he’d played last year he likely would’ve been QB1 but he didn’t and he isn’t.

So now he’s on a mission to prove he can play for real. And everyone’s watching because after all, his last proper football game was in high school.

Page 4 of the article. In the first column, Britechester: Reeling Foes with a Not-So-Secret Weapon. We’re loath to say it but Nicolae Hendricks is the star they say he is. SFL legacy and all. Britechester is handing everything on him this season, but the freshman choke is real. Is he exempt?

In the second column, The Lagoon Pod’s Take. Verdict: Mayberry wins QB1 at Foxbury, Foxbury wins either both matches or just one against Britechester in the regular season and Britechester wins the Foxchester Bowl this year cause Hendricks is too good. Though Mayberry could put up a good fight.
