As a fellow creative in a very volatile industry (games), it can be extremely hard to put yourself and your work out there and hear the worst back. I've been subject to some pretty awful vitriol, but was told to 'grow a thicker skin' (which sucks, why is it never 'be kinder?')

To the left is a scene from our vtm campaign whhen he was stuck in a nightmare. His bf is dead at his feet. Around him, broken reflections show all the people who have died because of him. In a shattered mirror he sees himself, but as the monster he has turned into, in a pool of blood, glowing eyes and long bloodied claws.

To the right is Ellair in anguish, blood dripping down his mouth, hands over his face and over his heart, as two long-fingered hands with claws are coming from above, trying to get to him.

The two covers I made for my books "Far From Miklagardr" and "Far From Eikfell". In the first one two men are holding two fingers, hesitantely, in front of the northern lights. In the second one, they are now fully holding hands, back against each other, in front of the sea. Far away is a viking ship.
