I finished Radiant Star by @annleckie.com, and it’s different from its predecessors in the Imperial Radch world. No spoilers, but the book considers the end of empire as reflected in the lives of people who mostly don’t care about empire at all. I’m left with lots of questions, in a good way.

Just to be clear, Tennessee is a 60-40 state. Maybe 65-35. Nashville has already been divided up, fed to the suburbs, and has three MAGA reps now. The “flaw” in the current map Trump is referring to is the single remaining Democratic district, Memphis, which is 63% black and voted Harris +25.
