maybe you're too young to remember when Flint MI was National News. Lead pipes, sick kids etc: started in 2014. Note that 'final active lead service line had been removed, completing the massive replacement of over 11,000 lead pipes." AUGUST 2026, barely 2 months ago. Twelve years.
screen cap answer to 'how long did it take for Flint (MI) to get clean water" "• April 2014: The crisis began when Flint switched its water source to the Flint River without corrosion control, causing lead to leach from aging pipes.
• October 2015: The city switched back to Detroit’s water system, though pipe damage and contamination persisted.
• June 2016: Water was officially deemed safe for drinking with proper filtration and corrosion treatment, though many residents continued using bottled water due to deep-seated distrust.
• May 2025: The EPA officially lifted its emergency drinking water order for Flint after the city met federal Safe Drinking Water Act standards for 18 consecutive monitoring periods.
• August 2026: The city of Flint and the state of Michigan reported that the final active lead service line had been removed, completing the massive replacement of over 11,000 lead pipes."

a few from Florida:
screen cap of communities in Florida with unsafe drinking water "• Whitted Historic Community (Osceola County):
	• Contaminants: Arsenic and PFAS ("forever chemicals").
	• Details: This historically Black neighborhood has faced well-water pollution dating back to a nearby unlined landfill from 1965. Many residents have relied on bottled water for decades while awaiting infrastructure fixes. Read more about local conditions via the University of South Florida Health News.
• Riviera Beach (Palm Beach County):
	• Contaminants: Coliform bacteria, fecal matter, and chronic reporting/infrastructure violations.
	• Details: The Riviera Beach Special Utility District faced millions in state and federal fines after failing to report positive bacterial tests to health authorities dozens of times and delaying public warnings. A 1950s-era water plant operating past its lifespan has left many residents distrustful of tap water.
• Brevard County (including Cocoa Beach and Satellite Beach / Patrick Space Force Base):
	• Contaminants: PFAS (exceeding Environmental Protection Agency limits) linked to historical firefighting foam use."

here's some of Alabama:
screen cap of answer to 'unsafe drinking water Alabama:
Major Contaminants & Affected Areas

• PFAS ("Forever Chemicals"): Persistent man-made compounds used in manufacturing and industrial applications have affected multiple water systems. High levels of PFOA and PFOS have been documented in North Alabama (including Decatur and parts of Lawrence and Morgan counties near industrial plants like 3M and Daikin), as well as East Alabama (such as Gadsden and areas near Logan Martin Lake in Talladega County).
• Total Trihalomethanes & Byproducts: According to state-wide environmental data tracked by the Environmental Working Group Tap Water Database, total trihalomethanes and haloacetic acids (HAA5) exceeded health guidelines in hundreds of Alabama public utilities.
• Radium & Other Elements: Combined radium and other heavy elements like arsenic have been detected above health guidelines in select utility districts across the state.
• Local Infrastructure and Well Issues: Localized disruptions—such as drilling impacts on private wells (e.g., Lake View Circle), aging pipe corrosion, or recurring municipal water outages (e.g., Wilton in Shelby County)—can also compromise water safety and quality.

All over the South and Midwest too, honestly there are most likely communities in ever state.
screen cap of text regarding Appalachia unsafe drinking water: "• Martin County, Kentucky: Long-standing federal drinking water violations and severe pipe corrosion leave residents with discolored, sediment-filled tap water.
• McDowell County, West Virginia: Many residents experience heavy metal, coliform, and E. coli contamination in private or spring water systems, forcing heavy reliance on bottled water.
• Southern West Virginia (including Bradshaw, Oceana, and Gary): Coal mining runoff has heavily altered water chemistry—introducing heavy metals, selenium, and sulfates—leaving towns with rancid, discolored, and unsafe water.
• Rodell and Kimble, West Virginia: Decaying water infrastructure and shrinking local tax bases left communities without functioning tap water for years before recent non-profit interventions.
• Southwestern Virginia (Lee, Wise, and Scott counties): Approximately 10% of homes lack complete plumbing or hot and cold running water.
• Appalachia Ohio: An average of 34% of the population in unserved areas lacks connection to a public water system."

screen cap of information regarding cost of ad during football game saying" AI Overview A 30-second television advertisement during the Illinois vs. Ohio State college football game on FOX costs approximately $100,000 to $110,000.Because this specific game was broadcasted as part of FOX's premier "Big Noon Kickoff" slate, ad inventory commands premium rates for the college football regular season. While exact ad unit pricing fluctuates based on upfront media bundle buys, historical data, and pre-packaged agency deals, the standard cost for national 30-second spots during FOX's top-tier Saturday Big Ten games sits right around the $106,000 mark.Advertisers purchasing space in the top of the 4th quarter typically pay on the higher end of that spectrum, as fourth-quarter slots see peak viewer engagement during competitive conference matchups."

this isn't just 'forest' fire pollution(which is bad enough) its burning communities; Homes&Businesses everything in it-plastics, chemicals, toxic materials. Cars&trucks= fiber glass/aluminum/batteries/polyurethane/gas/tires
photo clip of information regarding burning cars being toxic: Inhaling the thick smoke from a burning car exposes you to several immediate and long-term health hazards:Carbon Monoxide: This odorless, colorless gas is the most lethal byproduct of vehicle fires. It rapidly depletes oxygen in the bloodstream, leading to brain damage and asphyxiation.Hydrogen Cyanide: Released when burning polyurethane and other plastics, this highly poisonous gas can cause convulsions and respiratory failure.Hydrogen Fluoride & Heavy Metals: Particularly concentrated in the smoke of electric vehicle fires, these airborne toxins and aerosolized metals can cause respiratory distress.Carcinogenic Compounds: Smoke contains volatile organic compounds (VOCs) like benzene, as well as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), which are strongly linked to chronic health issues and cellular mutation.Battery Acid & Fuel: The combustion of motor oils, gasoline, and battery acid creates corrosive and poisonous fumes that can chemically burn the nose, throat, and lungs.

Let this Dim Bulb's challenge to the weather be a teaching moment for all about 'Wet Bulb' air body-temp+ added to high humidity=quick onset heatstroke as one's sweat will not evaporate. You boil in your own juices. Can happen indoors too. climatecheck.com/blog/underst... #WetBulb #HeatStroke
Pic of text from article: Risks of Wet-Bulb Temperature for Humans

High heat with humidity poses a more significant risk to human health than high heat alone. The human body relies on the evaporation of sweat to cool itself, but in extreme heat and high humidity, sweat doesn't evaporate effectively. This leads to increased body temperature, heat exhaustion, and potentially fatal heatstroke.
High wet-bulb temperatures can indicate significant health risks for humans, especially vulnerable people like children, the elderly, and those with heart conditions or other chronic illnesses. While a wet-bulb temperature of around 95 degrees Fahrenheit is the theoretical limit for human survival, more recent research indicates that in practice, a wet bulb temperature of 88 degrees Fahrenheit can be hazardous even for young, healthy people.
“At high enough wet-bulb temperatures —approaching 95 degrees Fahrenheit — we can't survive for long, even with fans and shade. In these conditions, we rely on air conditioning — and the electricity to power it — to live,” said Preston.
Damp areas in buildings such as basements or other areas exposed to high humidity for long periods can also create health hazards for residents. Exposure to..

Key Details of the Report:
Alligator/Snake Moat: Trump reportedly suggested a water-filled trench at the border filled with snakes or alligators. He also reportedly wanted the border wall to be electrified and topped with spikes that could "pierce human flesh".
Shooting Migrants: During a private meeting, Trump suggested that soldiers shoot migrants in the legs to slow them down.
Response to Proposals: Aides reportedly told the president that these ideas were illegal and impractical.
Public Comments and Denials: While Trump later denied the reports about the moat and spikes, calling them "corrupt reporting" he did not directly deny the suggestion to shoot migrants in the legs. He had previously made public comments in 2018 suggesting that if migrants threw rocks, the military should treat it as a rifle.

given the gravity of the allegations this deserves immediate investigation. If true it's not only cruel but illegal. It's not hyperbole to say leaving people to fend for themselves in THAT weather, miles from home (whether in the woods or a barren strip of road) could end in death or severe injury.
Text from AI answer to question asking if leaving people out in the cold is against MN law the answer shown is "Yes, abandoning someone in freezing weather in Minnesota could be illegal, potentially falling under criminal endangerment, neglect, or even kidnapping (if done deceptively), depending on the circumstances, relationship, and intent, leading to severe charges for reckless endangerment or similar offenses under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 609 (Criminal Code). While Minnesota has a Cold Weather Rule for utility shutoffs, the act of leaving a vulnerable person in extreme cold is a serious criminal matter, not just a utility issue, requiring immediate contact with law enforcement.
Why It's Illegal:
Reckless Endangerment/Criminal Neglect: Intentionally placing someone in extreme cold without adequate means to survive demonstrates a reckless disregard for human life, which is a crime.
Vulnerability: If the person abandoned is a child, elderly, or has a disability, the charges could be more severe.
Intent: If the abandonment was done with malicious intent to cause harm, charges would be much more serious. "

and guess how they monitor this disease? www.theaftd.org/for-health-p...
Screen Capture from the article saying "Brain Imaging Empty heading
Brain imaging is indicated in all individuals with symptoms of FTD to rule out structural causes. MRI scanning will identify small vessel ischemia, subdural hematomas, strategically placed tumors and hydrocephalus. Additionally, the pattern of brain atrophy can support the diagnosis. Severe “knife-edge atrophy” of the frontal and/or anterior temporal lobes may be seen. Often this is asymmetrical. There is often relative sparing of the posterior head regions. However, new research indicates that atrophy of the parietal lobe is found in many genetic cases.

The MRI is more sensitive for assessing vascular changes and subtle patterns of atrophy, but it requires an individual to lie still for 15 to 30 minutes. If the individual is unable to tolerate this, or if they are severely claustrophobic, a CT scan may be more realistic. If the MRI or CT scan does not show atrophy, and the diagnosis remains unclear, a fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) scan or SPECT (single proton emission CT) scan may be considered. FDG-PET scans are more specific, but are costly. They show functional changes in brain glucose metabolism, and are often positive earlier than MRIs. The SPECT scan is less costly, but it reflects blood flow more than metabolic change, and is felt to be less sensitive for FTD.

The FDA has approved 3 different versions of a PET tracer for amyloid – currently valuable to FTD diagnosis as a negative scan ruling out Alzheimer’s disease."

Before the killings reached their frenzied peak, Mr. Amin had already attained an international reputation for impulsive and draconian rule by his expulsion in 1972 of 40,000 Ugandan residents of Asian origin. going to drop this here:
screen cap of AI explanation "Yes, shoe lifts can be bad for edema because they can worsen swelling by causing gait abnormalities and making it more difficult to get proper circulation. Instead of shoe lifts, people with edema should choose shoes with adjustable closures, extra depth, wide widths, and stretchable uppers to accommodate swelling and provide support.
Why shoe lifts are bad for edema
Poor circulation: Shoe lifts can create an unnatural gait by forcing the pelvis to shift, which can lead to a higher pelvis on one side and a leg that appears shorter. This can restrict blood flow and worsen swelling.
Pressure points: Lifts can cause pressure points and imbalances in the feet and legs, which can increase pain and swelling.
Gait abnormalities: Lifting one leg without adjusting the other can cause a person to walk unevenly, leading to an improper gait pattern. "

Founders? Would that be this badass lady? Danuta Danielsson did this in '85. Maybe Sophie Scholl?
Cobblestone Swedish town square, (1985) a demonstration by a small group of Neo-Nazi Nordic Reich Party. young skin heads march with a banner. A stout, middle aged woman, in a pleated skirt and heavy blazer whacks a neo-nazi over the head with her large handbag. the REAL Superman.
poster from the 1950s Superman stands with a group of teenagers with text saying …and remember, boys and girls, your school - like our country- is made up of Americans of different races, religions, and national origins. So…’ with text continuing below saying ‘if YOU hear anybody talk against a schoolmate or anyone else because of his religion, race or national origin - don’t wait: tell him THAT KIND OF TALK IS UN-AMERICAN.” With a banner below it saying ‘HELP KEEP YOUR SCHOOL ALL AMERICAN!'Cover of Action Comics #43 Scene depicts frightened WW2 German paratrooper being confronted by Superman while a battle goes on in the background

Any hostile Gov, sinister corporation, or influence peddling org who hasn't had at least 3 spies in MaraLgo's housekeeping, maintenance&grounds keeping crews since '15 hasn't been trying hard enough. They'd never be noticed.I imagine a GetSmart meets Fawlty Towers scenario but sadly its serious.
Cartoon of spies Boris and Natasha - Boris pushes a lawn mower, Natasha holds a tray with a drink and sandwich with type saying 'Boris you work to hard have a cocktail'

I'm not a docto&either is AI but a quick " can CVI affect bloodflow to brain" says: it sure can. Elderly relative seemed functional yet 'mean', rambling thoughts. on his death they found his brain had only 1 functioning artery. Anybody close who cares about him should get him better doctors.
screen shot of answer to CVI and blood flow to the brain "Yes, venous insufficiency, particularly in the brain (cerebral venous insufficiency), can affect brain function and potentially lead to various neurological issues. This can manifest as cognitive impairment, headaches, and other neurological symptoms.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
How Venous Insufficiency Affects the Brain:
Impaired Venous Drainage:
.
Venous insufficiency in the brain, often referred to as cerebral venous insufficiency, means the veins are not draining blood from the brain effectively.
Brain Edema:
.
This can lead to increased pressure within the brain and potentially cause brain edema (swelling), which can disrupt normal brain function.
Blood-Brain Barrier Disruption:
.
The increased pressure can also disrupt the blood-brain barrier, a protective layer surrounding the brain, potentially leading to inflammation and further damage.
Reduced Oxygen and Nutrient Supply:
.
Poor venous drainage can also reduce the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the brain, affecting its overall health and function.
Cognitive Decline:
.
These factors can contribute to cognitive decline, including memory problems, difficulty concentrating, and other cognitive impairments.
Other Neurological Symptoms:
.
Venous insufficiency can also cause headaches, vision disturbances, fatigue, and other neurological symptoms.

Bad move trying nuance. Too easy to take out of context and wave around to those looking for yet another reason to dislike her. Confirmation bias vs looking up what she actually said. If one is an R and was NOT unmovingly racist/xenophobic/sexist etc she wasn't talking about them.
Screen shot of HRC 'basket of deplorable '"You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? [Laughter/applause]. The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric. Now some of those folks, they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.
"But the other basket, the other basket, and I know because I see friends from all over America here. I see friends from Florida and Georgia and South Carolina and Texas, as well as you know New York and California. But that other basket of people who are people who feel that government has let them down, nobody cares about them, nobody worries about what happens to their lives and their futures, and they are just desperate for change. It doesn't really even matter where it comes from. They don't buy everything he says but he seems to hold out some hope that their lives will be different. They won't wake up and see their jobs disappear, lose a kid to heroine, feel like they're in a dead-end. Those are people we have to understand and empathize with as well."

yep there it is.
Screen shot of Grok's "X" response to the question regarding flooding which reads "Yes, climate models from IPCC and NOAA project more intense flooding in Texas due to warmer air holding more moisture, exacerbating events like this. Ignoring it—regardless of politics—won't stop the trend; global emissions cuts are needed."
