Oriental Tea. Against all odds my pelargonium Mårbacka has proved true resiliance and survived another Nordic winter indoors. • • • #ninahaikoart #selfportraitpainting #floral #paintwhatyoulove #figurativepainting #womenwhopaint #japonism #dogpainting #visualdiary #art #ilovemydog #artforinteriors

Nasturtiums in vase, acrylic on canvas. ”She who plants a garden, plants happiness.” I get a lot of energy from these garden memories. Happy Friday! 🌼🌿 • • #ninahaikoart #figurativepainting #stilllifepainting #sunflowerpainting #nasturtiumpainting #selfportraitpainting #artforinteriors

I took myself and my assistant 🐶 somewhere where it isn’t freezing and where we also have a pretty decent sized fire maker 🐲🔥 To me this is also what it feels like entering my studio the days when I can just paint ❤️ Acrylic on canvas, scale 40x50cm. Happy Thursday! •

A colorful painting of a woman dressed in an Asian red kimono, riding a dragon above mountains and holding a black dog in her arms. Brush strokes are vivid and clearly visible, energetic.

Sketchbook. There is a fox living in the forest in the back of this house. We haven’t seen him in a while, but we know he’s there. Looking into the forest from between my Pelargonium Mårbacka branches while it snows. Happy Thursday!

notebook. This is how I cope when the weight of the world feels heavy - I paint, I use happy colors, and imagine the future light as a feather, as a butterfly’s wing. Happy Valentines Day filled with Happy Moments! 🌿🌸🦜🐲🦋🐒

A colorful floral still-life painting of a pink pelargonium in a red vase on a table. On the table there is a notebook with handlettering on the cover that says Happy Moments. A blue budgie sits on the notebook cover. The table cloth has Asian style dragon print on it, and on the table there is also a mug with a monkey as the handle.
