I see AI art as just content. It doesn’t have a person behind did. Nobody was behind canvas and put their feelings, their view, their perception of colour, perspective, experience out there on some medium.

Who gets to be a person with a "higher purpose" is not simply a matter of efficiency but a deeply political issue, and the framing that intellectual liberation is freedom from mundanity pushes care and diligence to the margins and underrates the status of care and those who care even further.

switching from a ui/ux designer role to frontend dev/ux engineer, month 4: good code is written with good work ethic. being experienced comes with good work ethic, not necessarily time. by work ethic I mean writing clean and readable code, not hours worked.
