iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Nina Modelski @nina-modelski.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

My darling baby OCs, Karakul and Maggie 🥰

A digital drawing, done in the style of pen and ink. Beneath the awning of two barren trees bound together in a semi circle, a woman leans against a long fluffy creature creature that wraps lovingly around her. The creature has five visible bird like legs dark horns. One of the creature's hands holds an umbrella, another holds a box of popsicles, and one more is wrapped around the woman's leg. The creature's eyes are covered by a stone block on which a drawn eye looks up at the face of the woman. The woman looks directly out at the viewer while holding a Popsicle stick close to her mouth.

I have become obsessed with weaving. I’ve made so many bands with whatever yarn I’ve got on hand and I have no idea what I’m going to do with them

I did end up inking it! Also, scanning makes such a huge difference, its crazy.

Two abstract figures stand under a muted sun and a sky of choked grey blue. The first figure is hunched, bowing. Her vibrant dark blue hair spills over her red scaled dress. A manic grin, and stares directly at the camera. Slightly behind her another figure leans over the first, hands rested gently on the first figures head and back. This person is dressed in a striped purple and gold dress, flowers bloom before her. Her head is raised and her eyes squeezed shut as she wails, red tears streaming down her face and soaking both of figures.

It’s the first of October ya’ll! Spooky season is upon us! In honour of that, here is a color pencil drawing about the scariest thing in the world: interpersonal relationships you can’t avoid #wip #traditionalmedium #colourpencils #family

A Brightly coloured slightly abstract colour pencil drawing of two women. One women is bent over, her blue hair pools at the bottom of the picture. She stares menacingly at the viewer with bright red eyes. Slightly behind her stands a wailing woman, red liquid pours from her eyes. She places her hands on the bent woman’s head and back as if offering comfort. Golden strands are attached to both figures like spiderwebs holding them in place.

3/3 and my absolute favorite, The Goat Man! It's a local legend around here about a half man half goat that roams the sparse woods of Prince George's County. My dad used to try to scare us on long walks by suddenly running off trail and pretending the goatman was attacking him.

A grotesque half-man half-goat creature stares wide eyed directly at the viewer as if he had been caught suddenly in the beam of a flashlight. Behind him a bridge disappears into the murky twilight. The words 'Goat' and 'Man' frame the figure on either side of his head.

2/3 I was thinking a lot about how image was going to be used so I made a sort of frame. Blue crabs are big in Maryland, there's even one on my license plate! I thought about including some Old Bay, a seasoning with a cult following, but there were some rules against using brands in the art work.

The head and claws of a blue crab peak from the edges of the image. Underneath a loose neon impression of seaweed creates a huge contrast between that and the muted colors of the crab. The crab's body is a grey blue-green, the tips of its claws are bright red.

The prompt was "Maryland Treasures", so lots of freedom to interpret. All the same, I went really traditional for the first submission, and focused on the state flower. Nothing wrong with being occasionally simple and pretty~ 1/3

Happy #InternationalCatDay! This is my brother and sister-in-law's adorably hyper-active cat, Harry. #painting #oilpainting #cats

A cat lays scrunched up on it's side, participial obscured in peachy pink blankets. The cat uses one paw, claws extended, to pull the blanket towards himself. His green eyes twinkle with barley contained menace.

It’s been too hot for long walks recently but there are still nice things closer to home ☺️

Im the foreground a pale purple/pink rose fully bloomed, the edges of its petals are starting to brown. In the background slightly out of focus is another rose this one not yet bloomed

A sunflower grows against the side of a house. The leaves have been ravaged by bugs but the bloom intact

A white Shiba Inu lays in the grass, its eyes squinting in the sunshine.

The day-job is day jobbing, so I'm sharing some fun work to cheer myself up. #gouache #traditonalmediums #tarot #thedevil #thechariot

Two figures sit on a platform silhouetted against a bright sky. Both figures wear lose chains around their necks, which lead up to a carved face. The carved face is inhuman and horned.

I figure dressed in yellow floats above the ground as she leads two charging horses.
