I can't stop thinking about that phone interaction I had earlier and why it bothers me so much. It's the fact it tried to pass as human. And sure, technically it didn't explicitly DENY that it was AI, but the way it *evaded* the question doesn't sit right with me.

but something about the way it spoke was so very off. And when I pointed out it was repeating itself, it responded with "you are so right, I am sorry" and then resumed its repetitive script again. I hung up, but wtf. This is so bleak.

I just had my first conversation with what I realized after a few minutes was AI. Not the usual automated voice. AI. It was so suspect, I asked if I was talking to a real person and it responded "yes you are talking to an operator". It was jarring. It had the right vocal inflections to seem real,

Some days I really miss Photoshop, because I actually loved to paint in it. I keep seeing people say that CSP is so much better, and for many things it is, but for painting it's a pain in the arse. I just can't get the brushes to behave like I want them to. I am so frustrated.

While on the topic of movies, last week I finally watched the Sonic OVA and really enjoyed it. I never bothered with it, because it didn't seem interesting, I didn't like the art style, and the English dub is just uuugh. But it was really fun!
