I want to set a new goal on ko-fi but the money is not for anything art related and I kinda feel bad/ashamed about it??

Nilus ☾ @nilusart.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

So, I did the math, and between all the payment processors I have to go through to get money into my local Argentine bank, I lose 10% to fees. That's why I'm so reluctant to switch all my commissions to VGen and add 5% to that number 🙃 I haaaate banks

Cora and Cooper strung up by handcuffs. They're glaring at each other as if to blame each other for the situation they're in. Cora is dressed like a Fallout 76 blood eagle

In today's day & age it is excessively important that you're kind to yourself. Your work has value even if you don't get as many likes/comments as you were hoping for. People still stopped to like your work even if it's only 1 or 2. Your work still has value if it's only for you. Likes don't = worth

When experimentation goes too far... 🐍 Comm for @/ alexisshrewsbury_ on ig! #portraitcommission #commissionsopen

A man in a lab coat. He has a crazy smile, glowing yellow eyes and long dark hair. His skin is pale.

Same man as before, but transformed. A horn grows from the side of his neck and scales cover parts of his skin. His eyes glow and his ears are longer and hairy. A tail that resembles a snake peeks from his shoulder.

Pro tip: you don’t have to comm artists to boost and support them. People claim they can’t support artists and creators because they are financially strapped, but they can still boost posts, comment, like, and in general just be supportive! It’s completely free outside of an internet connection ;)

Full DnD Party commission (half body) for @natural30s.bsky.social 💕 Had such a blast working on the whole gang, thank you so much! comm info: vgen.co/topbanana #geearttag #dnd #ocsky

A cropped line up of the Natural 30s DnD party, consisting of 4 characters.
From the left left is Forest, a masc goliath in adamantite armour, holding a flaming wooden bastard sword on his shoulder.
Second on the left is Trish, a femme lavender dragonborn with wings, in black leather armour and holding a book, turning the page with a knife.
Third is Tinker, a masc Kobold with orange skin and drooling lime green acid, wearing a mish mash of armour, leathers, kitchen and food pieces. He's atop a backpack that's turned into a walking turret.
Fourth is a Gavinelle, a femme Water Genasi with bioluminescent features, pale skin with a dark gradient around her glowing blue eyes. She's wearing light scale armour, casting arcs of lightning while a little bioluminescent coconut octopus hovers by her side.

My second #vgen portrait commission 💖

A portrait of a woman with pale skin, blue eyes, and long white hair. She has black lips and unnaturally long fangs, as well as fluffy, elongated ears and a piercing stare with slit pupils. Her vibe is punk; she wears a leather jacket, a red shirt, and many spiky accessories.

No Pressure Daily Doodles! I recently reached DD100 and thought these may be useful for anyone else wanting to stretch their brain and be a lil creative. #dailydoodle #dailydrawing #art #doodle #artchallenge #artpractice

Rule card on dotted notebook paper:
Milla's daily doodles 2026
1. One doodle per day
Can be traditional, digital, other
Some ideas:
- still life
- figure drawing
- abstract
- fanart
- meme
Don't go overboard, try to keep them between ~10min - 2 hours max.
On the right side, there's a colored doodle of a tanned bodybuilder with a cat's head, striking a pose. Green band-aids cover its nipples.

Rule card on dotted notebook paper:
Milla's daily doodles 2026
2. Number doodles, not days
If you miss a day, don't stress about it
Don't draw "in advance", don't make up for missed days
But try not to use excuses either
Attached is a yellow post-it note, with a doodle of a very tired person laying face down on the ground, their spirit leaving their body as a pale blob, with small text "DD52" (based on a doodle I did when I had a super stressful week). An arrow points to the post-it, with a message: This much is totally fine

Rule card on dotted notebook paper:

3. Explore styles & themes
Sticking to one theme for a week or month can be nice but not necessary
Participate in community events like:
- Portrait challenge
- Palette challenges
- Inktober
- Goblin week
- Mermay
- Smaugust
- Draw this in your style
Attached is a digital ink drawing of a crow using a dip pen with its beak.

Rule card on dotted notebook paper:

4. No need to publish everything
Keep private records to see growth
Drawing & posting regularly builds routine, but be careful to not get too caught up on likes & engagement
This challenge is intended to encourage, not pressure. Draw for yourself & have fun!
Attached is a drawing of a brown sketchbook with a heart shaped lock. On top of it, a smartphone and a daisy, and a mechanical pencil next to them.
