New Pose Pack! Kedzi is back and bringing in a severely needed touch of soft girl-brand whimsy to our library 🪻🌻🤍 TrueRef: Just the reference you were looking for

Sorry everyone, it's the end of the month and I have some translation work that I need to focus on, so no stream today! Will probably do a make-up stream on Friday instead. (I blame this all on the project I'm working on that has, like, three times more exposition than most of my assignments.)

What was up with the otome genre in 2007-2015 that made studios think that anthropomorphizing anything and everything into beautiful boys would make money (I know what happened it's all Hetalia's fault)

No prob at all! (and thanks for giving me an excuse to yap about drawing haha) And try not to stress out too much, the most important thing is that you keep drawing, and usually having fun is the best way to keep it going!

From there you can recognize what parts of the human body confuse you, which gives you an aim when studying anatomy. Loomis's books have great info but might seem intimidating with all the text. The Morpho Anatomy for Artists books are probably an easier point of entry. Hope this helps!

Nil Nilgiree @nilnilgiree.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Thank you! For beginners I think memorizing human proportions is a strong first step! Loomis's diagram is commonly used but making one for an artist you admire works too. You can then take that knowledge and apply it to doing figure drawings with sites like line-of-action.com

Thinking about "plus they'll probably have to deal with Godzilla at some point".

"Tried to watch 'Shin Godzilla" on the plane only to realize by the end of the movie that it actually a drama movie called 'Tears for you'. Words can't describe the feeling of watching an incredibly sad movie while constantly thinking: 'Damn... This is depressing. Plus, they'll probably have to deal with Godzilla at some point too...'"

What follows are four screencaps (presumably from "Tears for You"), showing a smiling woman (subtitled "I really love you."), a distant image from above of axwonsn in a white dress (subtitled"Thank you... for raising me."), a short-haired person weeping, and finally, an apprehensive woman (subtitled "living happily.")

I'm looking at the adult section on this digital comic asset store and man what's the point of making adult comics if you can't even bother to draw nipples. I get using 3D models for poses but I don't wanna read porn with brush-pack nipples stamped on.
