I'll try to channel your 👹 energy moving forward ❤️ Ty!!

It sure is! I've done some doodles of the lil guy over on Tumblr

Nil @niladhevan.bsky.social · 06/11/2025

Here's my #summaryofart for 2025. A staggering average of one (1) drawing per month. I wanted to do more but the horrors sure are persistent these days.

A calendar of art thumbnails. Mays, June, August and September are blank. Most other months, are about portraits of diverse characters facing right because i'm left handed.

Bonus : Doe Eye, who draws himself better than I draw him. He draws like Jean Cocteau, and probably dated the man, who knows.

A Sikh man dressed in a nice suit gingerly holds a piece of paper against his chest, looking down and saying "it really isn't much"

a blue pencil drawing with few swirly lines. It is supposed to be reminiscent of the art of Jean Cocteau.

Draw your OC then how the OC draws themselves. A game started by @radiologue.bsky.social on tumblr !

wiry man with long dark hair and visible bruises draws on a notebook that's not his. His hands are bandaged like a boxer. The pen and his fingers are visibly shaking. He looks focused and confident.

scribbly, extremely shaky drawing of a person standing with balled fist (swirls) in the air. "F you" is written on the side, and the name of the artist : merle. It

a proud looking Merle ignores the comment of an unseen person saying "you have tremors". Merle corrects : "you mean talent". The other just says "no".

Artist! Quote with your yellow art! 💛

A man sits on a branch, looking down. He wears blue drapes ans jewelry. Both him and the tree are shades of blue against a bright yellow sky with a slight gradient.

Happy V Day ! 💘 Time to see Björn angst over his scandalous gay thoughts involving trust, closeness and, gasp, gentle touch. #vinland_saga #vinland_fanart

Björn, wrapped in a blanket aboard a viking ship, observes Askeladd who seems to be sleeping like the rest of the crew. There's a close up of his face in the moonlight, and Björn seemingly cannot help staring. Bright red flashes of inner thoughts show him wanting to touch Askeladd's hair, be trusted enough to sleep by his side, and a bit of forehead touching. Björn snaps back to reality, looking tense and ashamed, he looks away. A silly little line at the bottom lets us read his thoughts : better to think about "killing" and "murder" than your beloved boss right?

Vinland Saga 's best of bros (ha), Askeladd and Björn, out there in West Francia and gazing upon the Mt Saint Michel. Askeladd almost talks about something personnal, and Björn's eagerness to relate backfires immediately :

Emulating those group pictures i see online all the time. The gang goes ghost hunting !

line up of characters against a solid color background with the phrase "the gang goes ghost hunting / and it goes as well as one would imagine". Three young people hold up a fourth friend like a prized trout. They all wear black sunglasses. From left to right : Ekou (the trout), his twin sister Ekuru, "Moomin", and Chinami.

Hi! I'm Nil ! i like drawing characters, mine and others'!

bust of a dark-skinned woman with a greenish afro and purple make-up. She is surrounded with vaporous, nebulous like clouds and constellations circle around her - Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus and Geminin are bright, vaporous outlines.

bust of a tanned Okinawan man clad in a black ripped shirt and studded leather jacket hanging off one shoulder. He has punk hairstyle flopping on one side on his square-ish face. He is surrounded by vapor, as if he is literally fuming (he is).

two panels from a Vinland Saga fancomic focusing on Askeladd and Björn's relationship. The first panel is close-up on Askeladd's clenched jaw. The second panel shows Björn's somewhat puzzled, expectant side-eye.

Dandadan opening-like close-up on a black teenager in a white puffer jacket, striking up a cool pose.

I gave it a human-ish body and fully red tones as a nod to the Jako, who's a character from the Réunion folklore with both indian and mozambican roots. It twists and bends its way around and picks up offerings with its mouth and wards evil away !

a couple sketches of the yokai moving around on its hands, showing ass in true Dandadan fashion.

close-up on the fruits. They're usually ethereal, undefined and connected to the branches by vein-looking tendrils. If the yokai looses its composure, the fruits contracts like a muscle to reveal an uncanny, cackling face with dark eyes.

picture of the Jako bending backward to retrieve an offering with his mouth. His body is painted in red, with yellow and blue accents.

[ Dandadan OC ] Moomin is some sort of medium with a specific tie to djinn. In his culture they're understood as spirits that reside in trees, so i decided to have him and his scooby gang interact with a jinmenju. It's a yokai that bears fruits with human faces, and it loves a good laugh !

small sketchy strip featuring Moomin's two friends Chinami and Ekuru. They say : "Is it a jinmenju?" and "Probably!". Moomin turns around, looking solemn, and says "I see...a Jumanji...". An arrow points at him, indicating that he is "not super fluent in japanese (yet)".

Moomin side to side with the jinmenju. Moomin is about as tall as the yokai's arms. They are both laughing : the french "mdr" and the "grass" kanji are equivalents to "lmao".

a red tree looking yokai stands on its "hands", that elongates into roots. The body is twisted around like a contorsionist would, both legs carrying leaves and hanging fruits. An upside-down face smiles. The fruits are mango-like, held by visquous strands, and less defined that the rest.

Happy #PortfolioDay! I'm Cara, an illustrator/comic artist that’s looking for rep! I love color and I enjoy making stories derived from both fantasy and my own personal experiences. ☕️ ko-fi.com/oenomene 🎨 oenomene.carrd.co

First panel from my comic Metamorphosis. The main character has their back turned to the viewer with a hand covering over bright pink, clustered blemishes on their neck. The text boxes read: "When I first met you, my skin started to peel."

Editorial art for an Eater.com article. A black woman chef is smiling at the viewer and holding a papaya. A medley of Haitian cuisine fill the rest of the illustration.

Fullbody Illustration. A black woman character is sitting, centered by an ornate frame. Her gown drapes over her and spills over the frame.

Comic Cover illustration. A wolf's head made of shapes and swirls spreads across the top of the illustration, while below eyes glow in between the shadows in a forest.
