Well i can also describe onimusha poorly you can dodge parry and sometimes there are qte classhes. While ive seen that resonant also has status effects tou can inflict on your enemeis they have a stagger bar not unlike wots and also a kinda like special bar for powers like the rock throw

Ok fair. I think my issue is why does every game have to be groundbreaking ive seen clips of resonant of people doing cool looking combos for example i saw Paul Tassi doing combos with the daggers hammer and fireballs i think and it looked cool. Maybe not as mechanically complex but fun.

Out of all those only issen is hard granted but parrying and dodging have a large window and you get blazing after a few parries and just kill enemeis really quickly. Blade clashing is just spamming square and barrage is just press the other button you didnt press at the start

I beat yesterday the double Nue fight i wouldn't say anything about the game is complex as of right now just fun the parry window is big Issens are hard sure but besides that gameplay is really straight foward. Which tbf so was the previous games. The game is a perfect samurai game but not complex
