Hi everyone especially #theatre folk and #history lovers. I’m performing my solo show “Mettle” at the Tabard in Chiswick. My Dad’s service on HMS Vanessa escorting the #arlanticconvoys. What he told me. What he left out. What I found out later. www.tabard.org.uk/production/m...

Mettle

A moving solo play of wartime courage and family discovery, commemorating those who served, those who were lost, and those who lived to tell their story.

🧵I have a new solo show. It’s called “Mettle” and it’s about my Dad’s service on the Atlantic Convoys. He didn’t talk about it until my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary when he told me a lot of stories. Fascinating, heartbreaking, funny. He died in 2018. My sister got hold of his service records.
