I’m whatever about two minute meta. Removing it feels prolly more intuitive for new players. The casualty of this change seems to be that all party damage buffs are gone, which is a double edged change for many job identities. Is every dps selfish now? Wtf they gonna do with dancer?

It felt like how jobs played in early level tiers was neglected for the longest time. There were many jobs you simply couldn’t play old content with. Glad the reworks allowed them to tackle this issue seriously.

Button consolidation NEEDS to happen and anyone saying it doesn’t is either obstinate or genuinely ableist idk. The new design of having single buttons do multiple things based on the context is just way cooler anyway. Lowkey I think they also primarily did this for controller players.

We new job reworks were coming, so I welcome the change. I just didn’t think it would be this weird opt in system. Describing it as “more individualistic” scared me because it’s what every Twitter asshole says they want (they don’t want this). Luckily I think this was just marketing.

New expansion announced as Evercold, themed around visiting the fourth reflection which had faced a cataclysm of ice. It’s heavensward and shadowbringers again, but that’s okay. I think that dimension hopping is a proven set up for a self contained expansion. Tell a good standalone story.
