I love this compass pose as an alternative to a tension split for those of us who aren’t super splitty. Or… do one and then the other 😉

The perfect shade of green silks did not exist… until I asked #GettingInverted to make them for me 😍 Showing them off with this sequence I learned a few years ago, inspired by Laura Stokes’ act #aerial #aerialsilks #silks #aerialist www.gettinginverted.com

From a few weeks ago: the evolution of my showcase routine. Fun to watch the evolution! To me silks choreography is a big puzzle. I start with a song, figure out the parts of the music where I want to do something special, and find ways to connect those dots. #aerial #aerialsilks #aerialist

In the excitement of the evening, I obviously forgot to record my own performance 😂 But I do have dress rehearsal which is close enough! Part 1 Lighting by www.antishadows.com #aerial #aerialsilks #aerialarts #aerialist #WarpedMKE

What’s absolutely terrifying is that people believed Hitler’s extreme hatred of the Jews was also just rhetoric (aka “trolling.”) I’ve borrowed these comments from some AskHistorians threads on Reddit, just because others can explain history much better than I can. #50501

These are real comments from people in the Conservatives subreddit, in response to an article about Trump saying he’s “not joking” about running for a third term. I’m in shock. It’s like, they are SO CLOSE to seeing it. #50501

My protest signs for tomorrow. Taking back my favorite meme. #50501

This week I’m busy: frantically rehearsing my routine for our aerial studio’s showcase after the flu last weekend set me back, stringing up dozens of flowers to hang from 28’ ceilings (also for the showcase), aaaaaaaaand protesting the fall of our democracy 🫠

What those progress pics eventually became 🥰 just in awe of today. So amazing to have been able to combine my two loves: flowers & aerial @ritualfloral.com #aerialsilks #silks #warpedmke

Oh hi, new app, who dis?! New home for all my aerial things, plus maybe some pet pics <3 Had fun finding the connection from this new-to-me lil flippy to loop splits. Thankful to have my training bestie back in town for fabric puzzles and general goofs #aerialsilks #aerial #silks #warpedMKE
