“Finish every day and be done with it. For manners and for wise living it is a vice to remember. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities no doubt
crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it well and serenely, and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. This day for all that is good and fair. It is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment on the rotten yesterdays.

2/3 A 2022 study found that students labeled as ADHD are more compliant - and turn out more seatwork - when they're medicated. But they didn't learn more on meds: bit.ly/3E4HWxT. What if the Rx and even the diagnosis itself are largely about (non)compliance?

It's Knife Ghost season.

A pumpkin patch. In the distance, a faint image of a blue ghost surrounded by a halo of carving knives. The text reads: you're carving. The knife ghost waits. Because you're using a knife. Instead of a pumpkin carving kit. Always use a pumpkin carving kit, never a knife.

Got the writing itch again! Really into this original story I have going on.. I'm still just creating the outline (2500 words so far!), and trying to name people/stuff so its not ALL placeholders 😅 I'm so bad at finishing projects, so who know what'll happen! But I like it so far!

I can't judge how probable it is that AI will cause (or, more likely, be used by people to cause) a catastrophe. But for god's sake, can we debate this without anthropomorphizing? AI cannot cheat, "go rogue," "hallucinate," or be your friend. It doesn't have rights or a soul. It's fucking software.

This area, as Adam says, is slated for the construction of a double barrier which will cede hundreds of acres of what was public land and will now be inaccessible.

I made an update to the Dragon Age cloths mod for #dressmaker ! Added a few more basic cloth textures, a few leathers, and the big ones: Morrigan's Skirt texture from WEWH and the Grey Warden cloth armor studs! www.nexusmods.com/dressmaker/m...

I ripped out the cloth textures from Dragon Age Inquisition and slapped them into Dressmaker, for all your Dragon Age obsession needs.
