Renako is the greatest harem protagonist ever btw. #watanare

黒の剣士 @nijigakulive.bsky.social · 05/09/2025

“I wanted it to be you” is a fitting title for this episode. Anko wanted it to be Nazuna to kill her and finally free her from the years of suffering she’s endured as well as the impossible task of eliminating vampires, but it also refers to the doomed Yuri relationship between them #yofukashinouta

The Conjuring Last Rites ✅ 3.5/5 Say what you will about the Warrens as paranormal investigators, but the films based on their life are entertaining. It’s like the MCU for horror films. I hate horror films, but enjoyed this and thought it was a nice send off for the series. #theconjuring #movies

Caught Stealing ✅ 5/5 this was fucking wild. Totally different from what I was expecting based on the trailer. Love that the author wasn’t afraid to kill off people, constantly on the edge of my seat because of the nonstop action, deaths and tension. Austin Butler is amazing. #caughtstealing #movies

Literally only stayed up to see the watanare episode and the start of Ajisai’s arc was everything I hoped for. The way she’s just as gay for Renako as Renako is for her is so funny, and we see that perfect facade cracking a bit. Can’t wait for the rest. Best girl. #わたなれアニメ #watanare

Got so emotional being around so many people who are openly passionate about what they love. The cosplays were amazing; the energy was off the charts. AnimeNYC you were incredible and now I’m hooked on the con energy. Will start working on the video after the Philippines. #animenyc

I believe in Ajisai supremacy! Clearly Renako must’ve forgot that she basically accidentally confessed to Ajisai a couple episodes ago and she’s clearly not stopped thinking about it since. She’s starting to get clingy with Renako which is so cute #わたなれアニメ #watanare

Freakier Friday ✅ 4/5 We love when legacy sequels aren’t nostalgia bait cash grabs and actually tell good stories + we got 2 Chappell Roan songs! For just two hours, this transported me back to early 2000s Disney channel. JLC and Lindsay Lohan haven’t lost a step. #movies

New party member acquired ✅ Beautiful episode as usual from Bind, quite emotional too. Seto joining the group will be perfect since she and Ruri are the same age and can relate to one another. The way she looks up to Imari like Ruri looks up to Nagi is so sweet🥰 #RuriNoHouseki #rurirocks

Group s*****e at my house, k? Obviously we already knew Mitsuba died tragically, but seeing it play out in real time.. the way he died on his mom’s birthday, trying to be a thoughtful son and make her dinner.. the OST.. I can’t. #hanakokun #tbhk

‘Hikaru’ ripping out half of himself to give to Yoshiki, more gay symbolism, but also showing just how much he’s willing to give up to put Yoshiki at ease. If that ain’t love idk what is! Also shows he IS capable of learning and growing from mistakes #thesummerhikarudied #tshd

黒の剣士 @nijigakulive.bsky.social · 16/08/2025

The tension, the unease, the gradual build up to Yoshiki’s “betrayal”, you knew it was coming, it was just a matter of when. It’s the waiting that kills you as they say and CyGames did a great job of making that big moment feel so visceral and heartbreaking. #thesummerhikarudied #tshd

The Knife ✅ 2/5 Do not speak to the police without a lawyer. Seeing the letterboxd score for this is so confusing to me because it’s so stupid. It’s a social commentary on racism in police investigations , but the characters are so dumb that it killed any potential for me. #movies

Mobile Fighter G Gundam ✅ 9/10 One of the greatest battle shonen of all time. Took a while for me to get into it after the silly and over the top start, but it grew on me and I started seeing a lot of those classic Gundam themes that I love. One of the hypest finales ever too. #gundam
