刚才去学校的钢琴社团(去年新成立的)social活动了有好多人轮流弹琴感觉在这种有同好存在的地方很兴奋其中有一个人在后面自由的时间里弹了一个拉威尔的Ondine...一下把我吓住了他弹得非常非常好技术上不用说最重要的是诠释得非常有灵魂真的瞬间就被吸引住了他弹完我鼓起勇气跟他问好然后问了一个我一直考虑的事--我想请他弹我新写的那首曲子然后还知道了他也是工程系的而且是华裔觉得我这个chronic hikikomori竟然在社交有点不可思议...其实是遇到同好有点兴奋过头了

今天去了鲁迅博物馆/故居而且昨天正好也是鲁迅的生日这个地方是鲁迅在北京居住过的4个地方之一也是他买下的一处房产从1924年住到1926年8月(正好是100年前) 之后她母亲和朱安(他家族包办婚姻的妻子)就一直住在这里这个博物馆是在他这处住所旁边拓开的一片地建的里面包括他的这处住所、陈列他使用过的和相关的文件信件书籍的展馆和一些没什么灵魂的旅游设施

Just found out that Dungeon Meshi recently made a collab with a karaoke company featuring the main characters wearing Taisho era clothing which caused backlash among Korean fans. I found this tweet by an Japanese artist that explains it very well. Taisho era was the time Japan began colonisation

Imperialism can never be justified, and we must not forget history. The Taishō era was a relatively short period, lasting from 1912 to 1926. In Japan, it saw the rise of democracy movements and women's suffrage movements. At the same time, Japan's annexation of Korea took place in 1910, and the massacre of Koreans following the Great Kantō Earthquake occurred in 1923. Japan's cultural and social developments at home coexisted with its imperialism and colonialism. In Japan, aspects of Taishō-era culture and fashion have often been detached from the history of imperialism and colonialism, and consumed nostalgically as "Taishō retro" or "Taishō romance." Wearing hakama with boots, in itself, is still common at graduation ceremonies today. However, seeing the reactions of Korean fans to this collaboration has made me reflect on how such imagery can be perceived differently by different people. The jacket Laios is wearing does have motifs reminiscent of police or military uniforms, but the hakama worn by the other four characters was also everyday worn clothing by ordinary people. I think many Japanese people do not directly associate hakamal with imperialism. Nevertheless, I can very much understand why these motifs can be sensitive for Korean people. The direction of the issues is different, but as a woman who has spent many years in male-oriented fandoms, I deeply understand what it feels like to repeatedly see commercial works use expressions that you have said you dislike, and eventually feel that you are not being respected as a customer. If it seems inappropriate for me, as a Japanese person, to bring up an entirely different issue in an attempt to express solidarity, I am sorry. Seeing these reactions has made me realize things I should reflect on myself, as well as things I had never really considered before.
