Decided to paint a realistic Murderbot to help me figure out its face. Took me only 12h and 43 minutes and it still doesn't look quite right... 🫠 it does look good though! #tmbd #themurderbotdiaries #murderbot #art

“Is that the kid?”, Havoc hissed next to him and Roy nodded absently, unable to tear himself away from that piercing stare.

“That’s him”, he muttered. He should say something. Greet him, walk down the stairs. Reluctance pinned him in place.

“What’s wrong with him?”

Havoc’s whispered words were unexpected enough to snap him out of it, turning his head to look at him with furrowed brows.

After a beat, Havoc’s eyes widened. “I don’t know why I just said that.”

Roy cleared his throat. “Maybe leave the talking to me”, he said, but he couldn’t quite ignore the voice that whispered at the back of his mind, that Havoc’s words hadn’t surprised him because they were inappropriate, but because he’d been thinking the exact same thing.
