today marks the first day of fall! I just love doing autumnal pieces. 🍂🍁These two are out during a chill time when Earth’s cycle reaches the time of fall. The audio is Astral Alley: Night in the Woods. Just seemed like something Irene would play. #art #ocs #autumn #fallvibes #spookyseason

This next chapter turned out to be longer than I intentionally planned and will have to be split in two😐

Astrascend is a novel/comic-hybrid series about the alien life form Eurek who’s known for dealing with supernatural phenomena lurking on earth and beyond, and the astronomer, Irene Ulysses that has found hidden mysteries, as they both begin in a secret space in a universe of wonder and peril.

Here’s an illustration series in honor of Peter Cullen’s passing. As I’ve mentioned before, one of Eurek’s core inspirations was and has always been Optimus Prime. Eurek likely wouldn’t have existed if it wasn’t for Optimus. RIP Peter Cullen. #transformers #rippetercullen #optimusprime

The reformatting is still in progress. Some things came up this week that took me from my work. The reformatting edition and the next chapters are still on the way.

So good news and bad news. I found a formatting reference that fits exactly to what I’m trying to attempt with my story as a prose/novel comic hybrid format. So the previous chapters are currently being reformatted. Only bad news is. The. Next chapter is gonna be delayed. Again. My apologies.

My entry for Mermay 2026 Eurek and Irene as merfolk. I chose the design of an angler/ viperfish for Eurek since the deeper the sea life is in the ocean, the more alien it looks. This was fun to do. I need to do more underwater art in the future and I definitely will. #mermay2026

Little warm up. I remember some time back when I made a funny sketch of Eurek and showed a close friend of mine while we were discussing our stories and characters, and he said it makes him think of John McClane from Die Hard. That stuck with me ever since, and it inspired me to do this. 😆
