Vtubers Against ICE @vtvsice.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Update on what's happening with VT v ICE TL:DR We're shifting our focus to support other projects, fundraisers etc, and spreading awareness and information that can help in the fight.

Hey all,

First off we are incredibly sorry about the lack of response from us,
we should have been more on the ball with getting this statement out
promptly, and for that we apologise.

The project is being put on hiatus as life has become increasingly harder
and busier for all our staff, and we don't have the man power and resources
to go ahead with what we originally planned.

In light of this we agreed that whilst we won't be doing large events just yet,
we will be highlighting and offering support to those who do their own
projects to help fight back against ICE, and reposting news and information
about how you can help people impacted.

And finally FUCK ICE.

Thank You

Vtubers! Explain your lore as badly as possible! Infertile couple uses babymaking magic to make a baby, accidentally makes a living garbage disposal unit. Parents Captain America her into the modern age. Now she travels space for Space Amazon. HR hates her.

I personally watch something very narrative dense to get my brain flowing again! Sometimes watching someone elses art helps you organize your own! My go to's are To Be Hero X and Arcane :3

I just love when a character absolutely HAUNTS the narrative lmao This guy is greedy for data points dude [ #webcomic #obsidian #author #AOTOW #ToTC ]

BTW, Chongqing is just a civil engineering marvel in general, and i recommend at least reading about it if you're at all interested in civil engineering, urban design, etc. They built a city on the slopes of a mountain, and they built most of it in like 20 years!

A picture from the side of Chongqing's Huangguan escalator, the longest escalator in the world, cutting through the city down the side of the mountain the city is built on

Spread out my time across my MANY hobbies instead. DND! Art! Modelling! And yes, still content creation too. Though, pretty much only on YouTube. If I do stream, it's just for funsies. Being a Vtuber is a full commitment that I'm just not looking to make!

Okay so, as a lot of you prolly know, I suffer from a condition that has me consistently losing time in my day to day life I've realized since I started streaming consistently that my time is INCREDIBLY limited as a result. So, instead of allocating all of my time into that, I am going to-

Listen to me, an elder webcomic artist: There's never been a better time to get your own website and host your own comic. It's not hard or expensive. Don't trust your artwork or your following a corporation who will censor you and pull the rug out from under you.

Even ouyside of web comics this is fantastic advice, especially if your work is NSFW. Its a lot easier to lie to stripe or whatever paypro you use as an individual than it is as a platform. Set up stripe yourself, manage your own distribution.

Do the spam bots on this site realizing they are pinging the WRONG people? I refuse to believe that anybody tech literate enough to use a relatively complex platform like Bluesky properly would fall for a donation rug pull 😭 But they keep doing this so,,, maybe it IS working and I'm dead wrong-

Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, changed my brain chemistry I think I'd played other games before, like Jack and Daxter, but R&C opened my third eye or something Something about the combat, or the goofy characters, or the surprisingly deep story telling in the Future series Still love it.
