The very cool JP/HK cover for Dead or Alive on the Playstation, trading the Sega Saturn versions black background for white, but keeping the trio of extreme eye close ups and very millennium coded fonts, it rocks.

Almost OK American cover for Dead or Alive, three 3D rendered fighters squared around each other, ruined by a frankly hideous font for Dead or Alive and a label for Martial Arts Fighter on a separate red background like its a rental sticker. Also has a terrible flame render as background.

Ok so positives for the european one. The font is much better than the american one. Having said that, we have two fighters... floating askance above a city scape, making them look like kaiju? They're not really interacting with each other at all, there's a dude flexing and a lass with her hands at her waist like she's shrugging. Yeah I don't know either
