Nigel’s Tweet @nigelstreet.com · 19/02/2025All the comments I’ve read about the F1 75 event said it was a cringey cheese fest 🧀 🧀 🧀 All the media reports I read about the F1 75 event reported it was a big success 🏁 🏎️ 🏎️ 🏎️ I guess that’s the difference free-flowing Champagne makes 🥂 000
Nigel’s Tweet @nigelstreet.com · 12/02/2025I’ve been doing an online course so haven’t played any music for over a week(!) and I just some @alvvaysband.bsky.social on YouTube and it was 🤯🤯🤯. Can’t wait to listen to that Tracey Swift everybody goes on about! 🧣 010

Nigel’s Tweet @nigelstreet.com · 20/01/2025Some very weird arguments being made here. A guy who runs a dry cleaning can’t see how anyone gets satisfaction working at a computer all day - fair enough. I couldn’t get satisfaction loading a washing machine all day. The same programme says that people at home aren’t working 1/2 110
Nigel’s Tweet @nigelstreet.com · 13/01/2025AI progress is currently hindered as we don't get access to latest LLM models in Europe (including UK) due to GDPR etc - so what are government going to do about that? 🤔 @houseofcommons.parliament.uk 010

Nigel’s Tweet @nigelstreet.com · 19/12/2024TIL (well, the whole of yesterday and into today's early hours) that the process for signing Android apps for distribution is just as painful as it was when signing iOS apps in the early days. 000

Nigel’s Tweet @nigelstreet.com · 06/12/2024I'm a huge fan of the Raspberry Pi, but the entry level Pi 5 with 2GB RAM is ~£46. A 7" touch display is £55. You'd need an SD card too. I know they are for different purposes etc, but that's beginning to look less good value compared to the extremely capable CMF Phone 1 for £169. 110
Nigel’s Tweet @nigelstreet.com · 06/12/2024I underestimated the CMF Phone 1 once again! I just assumed it wouldn't have Face ID, but it does, it's as slick as my iPhone 16 Pro, but unlocks the screen without requiring a swipe which is a big improvement over iOS. So. Impressed. 000
Nigel’s Tweet @nigelstreet.com · 05/12/2024I had kinda assumed my 2020 MINI with CarPlay would also support Android Auto. Unfortunately it doesn't, which is a bit of a showstopper to going Android only for a while 😕 100
