Yeah belonged to Mark Weir, when he died it closed and remained closed as a pub for around 15 years, his 2 sons have now grown up and taken on the mine and the pub, with the help of family, friends and a couple of talented young chefs they have brought it back to its former glory.

The pub next door has been good since it opened at Easter but they have upped their game of late There is no better pub in Cumbria for food, not without paying Michelin star prices anyways If ya in Keswick or Borrowdale at any point, a meal at Yew Tree Seatoller is a must www.theyewtree1628.com
