18. Split Fiction I know it’s “technically” not physical but I’m collecting every physically released launch title in NA, and if it has a case, it gets a space. Thankfully the code-less copies are worthless. Only costed me $10

Story wise I'm definitely cautiously optimistic but stylistically this looks phenomenal. Reminds me a lot of the Noir stages in Shattered Dimensions, which is exactly the vibe they needed to go for

Btw I love Caines. Sure it may be a bit bland but at least it has the amazing sauce. KFC has nothing but the skin, and the chicken itself is just tasteless dry sludge

KFCs chicken is so tasteless it puts Caines to shame

For years, I've wondered what kind of artstyle they'd use for a Dragon Quest IX remake. But playing Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, I'm getting so many IX vibes from it's artstyle. This is now my dream artstyle for my dream Dragon Quest IX remake

You can now buy an NES game separately from NSO and own it! (It costs almost half as much as a year of NSO but at least you own it!)

Just finished Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, what an incredible game.

000

You skydive to the slums from the upper city that's so cool 😭 Yeah, without a doubt the most effective execution of this concept

000

Never really noticed until now how similar this games story is to Metropolis and Blade Runner, two of my favorite movies. But it does explain why the original FF7 is up there as one of my favs oat.

100

One of my favorite sci-fi tropes is a literal class divide, with the rich living in the luxurious upper city and the poor living in the dingy lower city, and FF7RI does such a good job portraying that. The fact that I can look up in the slums and see the bottom of the upper city is so cool.
