This weekend I hiked 20km and 1000m in elevation to get to the top of "Le Grand Veymont" in the Vercors mountains (in France, about 1h from where I live) The climb was pretty rough, but the view was very rewarding 🤩
A majestic view of mountains, on a beautiful day, with blue sky and a few clouds, from the top of "Le Grand Veymont", including a flat-top mountain called "Le Mont Aiguille"

Modern attr() is behind `layout.css.attr.enabled` in Firefox (set it in about:config). It's enabled by default in @firefoxnightly.bsky.social In Firefox DevTools, there will be a tooltip when the attribute value doesn't match the type you declare in CSS #cssday
Firefox DevTools Inspector with a tooltip displayed. The text of the tooltip says: Attribute value ("tree") does not match expected "<number>" syntax

Hey @bram.us 👋 While doing some testing, I found this issue in the Chrome Inspector: the color swatch in the color declaration should be lime(-ish), not red
Chrome DevTools with Inspector open. There's a rule that indicates the color of the text is red, but the text is green

It's been 10 years since my first patch landed on the #Firefox repo: hg-edge.mozilla.org/mozilla-cent... 🎂 Here's a picture of me at that time, with my beloved assistant
Me smiling at the camera, sit on a red office chair, with my young cat wrapped around my neck, also looking at the camera

We (@firefoxdevtools.bsky.social) are having a work week with the folks from @developer.mozilla.org to talk about better collaboration between our teams. We already have some ideas that we'll share in the future, but it would I'm curious if you have ideas around that topic?

The @firefoxdevtools.bsky.social JSON viewer got better in @firefoxnightly.bsky.social : the console offers access to the original json data via `$json`. This allows to easily manipulate the underlying data to get what you want
Firefox JSON Viewer opened for the html entites JSON file
We can see the various properties of the JSON file, which are all objects containing a "characters" and a "codepoints" properties.
The Console is opened at the bottom. In it, we can see a console message explaining that some data is available (`$json.data` - the parsed JSON object, $json.text` - the original JSON text and `$json.headers` - HTTP request and response headers)

There's a console evaluation done with the following snippet:

```js
Object.entries($json.data)
    .filter(([k, v]) => v.codepoints.length > 1)
    .map(([k, v]) => ({characters: v.characters, htmlEntity: k, codepoints: v.codepoints}))
```

and the result shows an array of objects containing "characters", "htmlEntity" and "codepoints" properties.

We now* display fonts metadata (version, designer, vendor, license, …) in @firefoxdevtools.bsky.social Inspector Fonts panel * latest @firefoxnightly.bsky.social, 137.0a1 (2025-02-13)
In Firefox DevTools fonts panel, in the "All Fonts on Page" section, the "Mozilla Headline" font is being used, and some new information are now visible (e.g. Version: 0.100, Designer: Studio DRAMA, …)
