I finally kicked the bucket and finally made a landing page. I also added mcp server capabilities, so that's that code-chunks.app
code-chunks.app

The era of AI generated code indirectly put an emphasys on learning actual system and code design patterns instead of the "Jesus take my wheel" aproach and i am noticing that experienced programmers are going that road. The @jarredsumner.com blogpost on bun rust rewrite was a blast

@thdxr.com question, the company i work for is considering using opencode zen and use the claude api key. After the recent news, how using own api key in opencode zen will be affected?

I finally managed to reach a point where i can present kenkutome.app, an annotatoe for your #DnD campaigns. I will eventually add more features later, but still i'm pretty happy with the result
kenkutome.app

Is it me or #blazor has a better ergonomics inside the interactive server side? Ok maybe the interactive client scales horizzontally better but i still can put a redis as a broker for the websocket connections. The InteractiveAuto part is just too mutch clutter to really have a benefit

Nicola Piermattei @nicolapiermattei.me · 15/10/2025
Does someone ever had this issue? I have a #blazor server app EntraID OIDC, and is deployed through container apps (i can't change this, it's for a customer) How do i manage containerization with horizontal scaling? I can't find anything. Customer may accept single pod with more resources, maybe

Considering, after beying really happy with my framework 13 laptop, to buy the new fairphone. Curious about the experience. Bad or good feedbacks accepted

Would be really helpful also to configure a dockerized relay with reverse proxy. Standard configuration is ok, but i don't like the idea to expose a port like that

Nicola Piermattei @nicolapiermattei.me · 29/09/2025
Really into #syncthing lately. For common files share, it has been a bliss for local share. I don't fully understand how to configure the use of local network AND a specific relay in the gui (yes, terminal exists, but i run it also on my phone)

You will need a higher pain tolerance. It's wonderful for 95% of the case, but the 5% you will yell at who in the hell invented that thing and why the fuck it is like it is. And if you are not a linux user and you decide to become one, it gets to 85/15. Greater 85%, way worse 15%

www.nuget.org/packages/Sup... I overcomplicated stuff in the first version, but it's ok now. Starting to implement multiple support is WAY easier now

Nicola Piermattei @nicolapiermattei.me · 23/08/2025
Yes exactly. Windows 11 does decent as a OS, but the crap Microsoft shoved into it became umbearable lately. I have to disable a lot of stuff and i have to keep doing it between updates (cmon, i uninstalled you, onedrive). I went back to Linux because at least o have control over it

Happy how it turned out but conflicted how to handle multiple files since the dropzone is handled JS side (the Balzor native event gives me only the file name, not the equivalent of the InputFile component). Is it ok to just fire an event for each file individually?

I think it's all about personal pain tolerance.I use Linux because i tolerate it the most. I have a virtual machine with windows for work related stuff and fits my use case. I tolerare MacOS the least because I feel treated as a dumbo most of the time

2) On second thought, i will not handle validation, but an object with everything needed to validate will be provided

Nicola Piermattei @nicolapiermattei.me · 23/08/2025
1) It will have mostly all by default. The only required parameters will be the selected content type and the callbacks to receive data and error messages. I am considering for the first version to be single file only, since most of classic crud apps are single file only anyway
000
Nicola Piermattei @nicolapiermattei.me · 23/08/2025
Ok so the blazor dropzone component is done on the concept. It will include a parameter if you prefer to receive base64 content or binary content. It will include a css class parameter to style the dropzone and a render fragment to choose what to show inside it (like some text etc) (Continue...)

Dear Windows team. I still need some windows tooling and time to time i need a windows VM. If i need english language and my keyboard layout is this THAT hard to prevent other keyboard layouts to be installer and putting that as my default for no reason at all????
