[I]n both existence and morals, Christianity gives a unique and sufficient answer in regard to the present dualism, yet original monism. In existence, God is spirit – this is as true of the Father as of the Holy Spirit, and equally of the true of the Son, prior to the incarnation. 1/3

[T]he fine arts, poetry-anything that festively raises up human existence and thereby constitutes its true riches —all derive their life from a hidden root, and this root is a contemplation which is turned toward God and the world so as to affırm them. -Josef Pieper-

Jesus Christ is more than our entry point into Christianity. He is the substance, the object, the centre, and the fulfilment—he is the ultimate end towards which all of reality points. He is the heartbeat of Christianity. He is our all. -Chance Faulkner-

Only two chapters in and can’t stop tearing up seeing my own sentiments (of the idea of place) put into words — the very thing that happens with each Port William book I read. (And I’ve read them all— many of them a few times.)

So in their memories the way went: a passage through the dark, undertaken familiarly by men of their kind in their time. So Marce remembered it to Wheeler, who told it to Andy, who in a world radically changed needed a long time and great care to imagine what he heard, 1/3
