Have you ever seen a flower of an evening primrose (Dutch: Teunisbloem) open? Just before dusk, the flowers start to crack open, and those only last for one day. Mind you, this is in real-time, no hyperlapse or edited video!

I just published a blog post exploring what powers Microsoft Fabric's Python and PySpark workloads under the hood. Turns out there's a fascinating cluster management system running behind the scenes that most users never see. 🤫 Curious? ➡️ debruyn.dev/2026/fabric-... #MicrosoftFabric #ApacheSpark

Today is day 2 of the #MVPSummit, with the opening keynote as the start of the day. And of course, we can't share any of that because we are under NDA. For me, the real value is in the coffee talks, the connections with fellow MVP's and engineers building the products we work with on a daily basis.

New blog & Fabric tip: See a wild spike in the Capacity Metrics App? Hit Focus mode on the chart - then you can actually click the red bar > Explore > Timepoint details. Helps you figure out what really went wrong instead of staring at a 65k% spike 😀 www.nickyvv.com/2025/11/quic...

Power BI and Excel still go hand in hand for many people (no, it's not a database!). 💡But if you want to use Analyze in Excel with your Power BI datasets, there are a few boxes you need to tick first. This post breaks it down: www.nickyvv.com/2025/09/powe...
