Dave Matthews has been through a lot — the death of his father when he was nine, the murder of his oldest sister, the violent effects of apartheid. Abolish ICE is a moderate position at this point imo. This would be my platform re: ICE.

1. ICE must be abolished.

2. An independent commission needs to be set up to investigate and prosecute the crimes committed by ICE and DHS leadership and to offer reparations to those harmed by ICE activity.

3. A blanket ban of any and all former ICE agents from holding any federal law enforcement job must be set up. The federal government should also do what it can to (by withholding funding or other similar actions) lean on state and local governments to keep THEM from giving badges and firearms to former ICE agents.

This is the product. It's actually seems to be bird-safe(ish) as people recommend it for birdbaths/birdfeeders though more as a brief soak then change the water thing. IDK if leaving it in there permanently is a good solution.

My favorite part of the story is Scarborough praying,in public for the cameras, in contravention of Matthew 6:5-6, for forgiveness but while praying for forgiveness, also praying that Hussein would accept Christ.

When Hussein broke down crying, Scarborough said he realized he had pushed Hussein too hard. After insisting that Hussein should give up Sharia or leave the country, “the pastoral side of me reached out to him in genuine care,” he said, and he offered to pray with Hussein.

Scarborough said he has asked God and Hussein for forgiveness for not setting a good example of Judeo-Christian morality. He prayed that Mohamed would convert to Christianity.

Many will say I should have seen this coming - that the right has and always will be against LGBT rights. And maybe there's some
truth to that. But that just wasn't my experience. I was met with open arms by this messy coalition of ex-Democrats and lifelong
Republicans, many of whom still support me and my right to marry. I found a community committed to reason and truth. Perhaps
I'm simply realizing that there are fewer of us than I originally thought. The radical right is on the warpath against liberalism,
trampling centrists, libertarians, and reasonable ring-wingers in the process. **Ultimately, I don't regret my decision.** I worked toward
what I believed - and still believe - to be true. I still oppose radical gender ideology and Critical Race Theory in schools. I still
believe that biological males shouldn't compete in women's sports or be housed in women's prisons. But I will not stand by while
LGBT rights are legislated away.
