This is the most unexpected crossover episode of the year for me.

Maybe it’s the chime that plays when collecting 100 that made me think it was mandatory. Thanks!

Wait, you only have to have 75 of each color for the banana medals and it will still give you 101%?

Can I play this on Steam Deck when it comes out?

I almost got this one when I was 14. Wasn’t even a fan of the color but really liked this on the ps2.

I don’t like them. However, people are talking about them like there weren’t already games for switch 1 that had a tiny amount of data on the card. The largest part needed to be downloaded. I hope Nintendo themselves will stay away from them.

Yeah, it would have been nice to have this as a standalone experience.

I like to see it that way as well. The references to the classic Rare animal buddies were nice and the soundtrack was very good. Thank you for all the lovely DK content!

@dkvine.com I know you did an episode of The Kongversation about 3 years ago. How do you look back on this DK ‘game’ and its place during the DK ‘drought’. I look back on it quite fondly and think it is a shame it isn’t discussed much in the grand scheme of things.

In the netherlands they were 20 euro, which is the go to price for amiibo for quite a while now. 30 dollars seems excessive!

I copied my savegame before playing this world just so I have easier access to these levels when I feel like playing them again.

The demo was the perfect gift with all of the Christmas visits and such. Really loved it!

I can see that! It’s a shame because this is basically THE big (original) DK release of this generation. And it is fantastic…. if you like tactical RPGs.

Would you like to win this plush Diddy Kong by San-ei Co., Ltd? Repost and follow @dkvine.com. I'll draw the winner on December 10!
