We popped into Robert Sayles (John Lewis) in Cambridge for a relaxing cup of tea but is it possible to ignore such a teapot travesty? In a Morecambe and Wise style, they had all the right colour lids but not necessarily on the right colour teapots
Two china teapots on a table. The grey pot has a green lid and the blue pot has a black lid

Nice to see a proper floaty foxtrot. A bit of proper ballroom. Subject to judges comments of course. Well done John and Katya #strictly

Those early dancers must be getting a bit sick of the inflation that is happening to the later scoring. The strictlyscoreboard.com is almost in order of appearance and even those not dancing the dance they have been allocated are mid table #strictly

I'd suggest whoever did the choreography might be at fault for not filling the dance with actual quick steps. Good point that if it is quickstep they are being judged on then maybe they need to do some #strictly

Visited Leith Hill this afternoon and found the tower open. Thanks to the lovely @nationaltrust.org.uk people for tipping me off on what to look for (Wind turbines off Shoreham, Gatwick, the Shard) and for allowing me to go to the highest spot in South East England at 313m above sea level

Went to John Lewis for pillowcases only to find a pack 'reduced to clear' from £7.65 to £9. So went for a different pack marked at £14 for two which scanned at £10. Needless to say the assistant said it was beyond her control. Disappointing #computersaysno moment

You can choose your own reasons why you visit the @nationaltrust.org.uk but even if it is just for the rabbits in the rooms then that is ok. Doesn't just have to be for the history, scones or the plant shop like this one at Standen in Sussex that we visited today
Little rabbits were in some of the rooms if you looked for them. Not just rabbits, active characters like this one with a sewing machine Looking more like Peter Rabbit this character was sitting next to a black vase or jugA sign from the cafe at Standen offering the scone of the month for July. Sadly the scones on offer today looked rather small and dry so we didn't get to taste themAn amazing collection of brightly coloured dahlias in the plant shop
